Daft Punk’s debut album, Homework has been named the greatest electronic dance music (EDM) album of all time. Rolling Stone quote the lyrics from WDPK 83.7fm, “the sound of tomorrow and the music of today”, and go on to say that, “considering how their thick, Euro-thwump has transformed R&B and pop music during the last decade, that absurd brag now sounds like truth in advertising.”
Discovery also made the list, appearing at number 8, with fellow Parisians, Justice appearing at 24 with Cross.
The complete list counts down a total of 30 albums spanning a multitude of sub-genres including House, Drum and Bass, Dubstep, Chillout, Pop and others.
