There’s no doubt that Daft Punk is working on new material, but it is still unknown if they are planning anything after the release.

Since their sudden disconnection from the media, the last interview being the one with the British magazine Dazed and Confused back in December 2010, numerous rumors have been rising among the fans of the critically-acclaimed band being on tour. Many of them claiming that their re-appearance will be at the Coachella Festival.

Recently, the English DJ, and Camp Bestival organizer, Rob Da Bank was interviewed by E Festivals regarding his upcoming plans, in which he addressed economic issues and previous experiences as an organizer. Towards the end of the interview the DJ said something which was unexpected:

“There’s all kinds of crazy rumors flying about at the moment about Daft Punk at Coachella” […] We got told months ago that Daft Punk were definitely not touring next year, but it keeps the rumor mill going ”.

There goes another dismissed tour rumor. However, just a day after the interview, Rob Da Bank tweeted “I did not say that Daft Punk will not be touring, I said that there’s one festival they definitely will not be doing”.

If you just can’t live without a Daft Punk tour rumour don’t fear though, because some curious posters have been circulating around the internet, which suggest a line-up for the upcoming Primavera festival. Among the rumored artists are Daft Punk. Of course, there is no official word from the festival organisers – so this remains just another rumour for now…
