Recent Down-Time

If you’re a regular visitor to the Daft Club you may have had some trouble accessing parts of the site in the last 24 hours or so, particularly the forum. Yesterday evening our server crashed and caused an error in the forum database. This error caused several further crashes, and some user data profile to be lost. I’d just like to reassure you that this was an internal fault and there were no attempts made to gain access to or hack into user data.

That said I have had to roll the forum back to a backup from the 14th June. I tried my best to avoid this happening but it was the only way to get the forum back up and running. This means that any activity in the last 3 days has been lost. This includes everything on the forum, including but not limited to:

  • Any posts made
  • New user registrations
  • Achievements or Digital Love points earned
  • Private messages sent or recieved
  • User messages posted

I would like to thank everyone for their support and patience throughout, and I’m really sorry about the loss of activity. I’ll be keeping a close eye on the server, but early indications point towards it continuing to function as normal.

Thanks,
Spud
