a lot of the times song titles can influence whether or not you give a song a listen.
when you were first getting into Daft Punk, what did you think of the song titles? did you love some, hate some, want to change some, or not want to listen to a song cause the name wasnt appealing?
when i first found them in 2005, i spent a good while going through their albums and listening to the 30 second previews of songs on itunes.
the ones i immediately wanted to listen to were aerodynamic, phoenix, nightvision, alive, emotion, human after all, revolution 909 and robot rock cause i thought all the names were really awesome.
turns out, i hated aerodynamic, nightvision bored me to death, i didnt see the point to alive cause all i heard from the preview were the beats in the beginning, hated emotion, thought human after all was too repetitive, rev 909 was the second DP song i bought- because all i heard were the conversations and thought that was sooo awesome to put into a song-, and i liked robot rock. :)
for the longest time i was scared of crescendolls and wouldnt listen to it. (i kept thinking it was an emo song for some reason). i didnt want to listen to da funk cause i thought the name was corny and same with burnin', and i was also scared of the brainwasher (partly cause of the voice) and was scared to death of make love cause i thought they meant it literally and there would be.. erm.. inappropriate lyrics.
turns out i was wrong. but thats what names do to people!
if i could change any song titles it would be veridis quo (even though i like the play on words).
i was thinking of saying rock 'n roll as well, but i just LOVE when people steal my ipod and ask to listen to it, and seeing the looks on their face when i play it for them. absolutely priceless cause its the complete opposite of 'rock 'n roll'.
sorry this is really long.... i have a tendency to do that.

I was actually pretty scared of the voice in The Brainwasher too at first. Now I think it's the best thing evaaaarrrrrrr. XD
When I saw the title Phoenix, I was hoping for something exciting...instead I got Phoenix. :P I didn't like it at first, but it's grown on me. I loved Aerodynamic and it's got a great title, so when I saw Aerodynamite, I thought it must be even better....what a surprise I got. (lol)

Prime Time Of Your Life
I don't know why, but the title just scared the **** out of me, when I saw it I instantly thought it was about some phobia or death.

OMG yes. I have done this. Buhahaha.
I always thought the name 'Da Funk' was pretty corny, too. :P
And I really like the titles Aerodynamic, Phoenix, Alive, The Brainwasher, and Musique.

Dude The Brainwasher was one of the first songs I listened to when I got Human After All! I fell in love with the voice, it reminded me of the "I AMMM IIRROONNN MANNNNN" voice, which is cool.
I'm agreeing with Veridis Quo, I thought it was an awesome song title, so I listened to it and loved it!
Other titles I wanted to listen to:
- Robot Rock
- Aerodynamic
- Emotion
- Revolution 909
- Daftendirekt
- Steam Machine
Steam Machine used to be my favourite Daft Punk song for a looonggg time.
Phoenix. When I saw the title, I thought it has to be awesome, but to be completely honest, this is the only Daft Punk song which I hate.

I don't see the pun....?
I think he's referring to how you said "looooong", and Steam Machine's vocals are spoken as "steaaaam machiiiiiine".

Both of those will work! Thanks
At first I didn't like Burnin', Indo Silver Club, and Rollin' and Scratchin', but now they're growing on me...
I've been listening to the Homework album more than anything on my iTunes recently. :D

Before I listened To Steam Machine I thought it would be like Alive, but instead I got the bouncy beats and creepy vocals that I
Also, I LOVE THE BRAINWASHER!
I also Thought Primetime of your life would be a Discovery-ish song, too, but it's nothing like that!
