HUMAN, I also like the name "Cut/Slash", all it needs is a great logo to match it and it'll be perfect, very original and creative.

WHy does it have to go? The only thing I can think of is the similarity to CUt/Copy, and that it may be taken a bit emo... but... those aren't reasons to dump it.

This is the logo i use most often. i guess i dont like the name because of the emo connotations boba noted, and the fact that i listen to Cut Copy,Cold Cut and Cut Chemist and it feels unoriginal to me.

Personally I don't like Evil Stereo, but it's stuck to me forever, or atleast until I decide to radically change the genre of music I produce, which is not likely.

Airborn Newborn - I like it, very atmospheric and ambient.

Mute - The drumbeat reminded me of Mario Winan's "I Don't Wanna Know", it sounds like the track was experimental overall, although I like how it tries to sound fresh and original.

Spacehead - My favourite, sounds very futuristic, and the bassline is cool.

Overall, your music has this retro-ish ambient vibe to it, which I think would work best when used as background music for videos/film showcasing a number of different things (natural landscapes, cities, fashion shows... etc) and videogames. "Airborn Newborn" sounds like it would be on an FPS game, and "Spacehead" would be background music for a stage in a Beat 'em Up game.

i record all my songs live with keyboards,drum machines and live sound effects and most of my instruments arent midi compatible,so i have to use a mic.that unfortunately means i got alot of background noise in my songs.

Well its been quite a while,but ive finished my latest piece of work,its called Humanity I + II.its a mega mix of dozens of horror movie samples and theme songs,as well as a few of my own tracks.its split into four tracks,the first 3 of which are almost half an hour in length each.the final track is more a glorified outro than anything else.uploaded here is the first track,dawn of the dead.the other 3 will be uploaded later (unfortunately i have to compress each file to upload them,as theres some sort of bug with the program im using at the moment and i dont have enough time to do them all right now).

unfortunately,the sound qualitys a bit lower than i wouldve liked (i had to reduce sound quality for tracks 1,2 and 3 so that they would upload to zshare properly.it doesnt make a massive difference as far as i can tell,but some vocal samples are a bit murkier than they are on my copies of the songs.

And now I finished listening to it.... I totally loved it. I had never heard one of your tracks before, but I REALLY liked them. I like how they're very experimental yet quite danceable, and I loved the samples from old videogames. Great job.

thanks,that means alot! that was actually the first time i tried a style like that (i guess you could call it 8-bit,though the beats and samples kind of negate that theory) so i wasnt sure whether it worked,but if people think its sounds good i might revisit the idea in the future.

I thought my downloads were wrong, but the file is definitely corrupt. Please fix it so I can listen to it in its entirety from start to finish. I know, I've listened to some of the tracks, and so far I've really liked it. I looooooooved DISNEY. It's such a weird yet cool track. Where did the "it's a beautiful heart" sample come from????
