considering its possibly the most popular tv show ever,i think its about time there was a simpsons thread.if youve lived in a cave your whole life,its an american animated show thats run continuously for nearly 20 years now.although about half of those years have been nothing but rubbish.

anyhow:peoples favourite characters,episodes,quotes etc.?

Favourite character is Proffessor Frink. M'hey.

Yes, The Simpsons have been running out of ideas for the last few years, but some of the newer episodes still have their moments.

IMO they were at their best at seasons 10 through 13.

Fave Character: Ralph Wiggum, the boy it's just a freak! Loved the episode where they referenced Kraftwerk (Raging Abe Simpson and His Grumbling Grandson in "The Curse of the Flying Hellfish")

They need to cancel the show, before they have more bad seasons than good seasons. It's going downhill. :/

Still, LOVE the old stuff.

I agree, its all getting a bit stale.
But yeah, u cant beat the early episodes.

loved the older episodes. i think they went too far with the simpsons movie. AND they killed nick riviera D:

As soon as i started watching Family Guy i just stopped watching The Simpsons .

South Park is far superior than both.

the german guy that owns the paintings says hes going to a kraftwerk concert.

i think family guys rubbish to be honest.south park is great but it often goes too far,didnt like what they did with chef.the simpsons in its prime is better than south park or family guy,easily.

When did they reference Kraftwerk?

In the episode: Raging Abe Simpson and His Grumbling Grandson in "The Curse of the Flying Hellfish, when the german guy at the end says that he has to hurry up to go to Stuttgart for a Kraftwerk concert
