Hmm.. If their source is from that idiot who said Daft Punk would tour soon, then I doubt it. But they did say they would tour in "2010 or 2011". Can't be sure, though.

But Last.fm is far from a trustworthy source. My dad told me once he'd found a tour date for 2008 and we proceeded to go to a Last.fm page, which was for their Lollapalooza show but with the wrong year. Considering they went to both those venues in 2007 I think something similar might have happened here.

undercover.com.au posted an article today about what are apparently leaked dates for the french duos next tour.its a fairly reputable website,cant see them posting it without solid evidence.NME,a VERY reputable (if not particularly insightful) website is running with the story too,albeit only on the evidence of undercover.

no,those were assumed to be fake and noone had any info as to otherwise,so they were disregarded.bit of a coincidence that the exact same dates would recur along with a lot of other ones a month later dont you think? i think that actually lends this a whole lot more credibility to be honest.

they weren't assumed, they were fake. the person who posted them was just some weird kid in ireland playing some practical joke on last.fm to piss off everybody. the fact that the same dates landed on the .au website just makes the more "official" announcement to be less credible.

if these tour dates are correct, then a kid in ireland predicted the future. and i will totally sh!t bricks.

I remember a list of dates exactly like this appearing before on Last.fm... we all thought it was fake then, but assuming this website isn't just taking the list from there, I'm excited! The only problem is that I'm unsure how well I'd be able to get through in Yankee Stadium... that place is swamped regardless of what's going on there, let alone a concert.
...However, I agree with the poster above that this information is still extremely tentative and that it remains likely that we'll wake up tomorrow to find it disproved.

Lol, the tour dates that were added on last.fm because of this site was some dude that has played Daft Punk only THREE times in his library.

Sounds pretty suss to me.

Plus, I don't think Daft Punk will JUST tour in Sydney in Melbourne. They Toured in Perth and Brisbane aswell. I wouldn't think they would tour in winter anywhere, because majority all the music gigs pretty much in the summer. I wouldn't want to mosh around in the frikkin snow if I was in the Northern Hemisphere! If these tour dates were legit, they would have way more places announced.

My two cents are, every artist (esp. that size) has some kind of manager/management department taking care of their stuff -- you'd probably even find the names if you google'd hard enough. But on the other hand, what do I know of music business. :'D

Yep. There coming to Yankee's Stadium on Aug. 15th! Alas, it's not like I can just walk there. I wish they were playing at either Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun. That'd be beast!

Im happy that they're fake, an arena tour would be expensive :o And if there were only two tour dates for the UK then the tickets would sell out too quickly.

I'm not surprised that he hasn't replied you. Firstly, you are using Google Translator, which isn't perfect at translating and he's very good in English, so it doesn't matter do you send your messages in French or English.
