Hey guys remember that album leftovers that disapperred after some time on itunes? Well its back but with the title "d punk'd". Actually, it says it was released on December 6th, 2008, but I haven't noticed it until recently.:happy2:
No. I don't remember it.
Mind giving those of us with no knowledge of it some info?

it was an unofficial release of Derek Marin remixes that was removed a few days prior to its release. Many people think it was because Derek didn't have permission or it was put on itunes as a mistake but if you go to the rolling stone daft punk page and see their discography it has leftovers on it.

You can listen to the whole thing here: http://www.youtube.com/user/IamLightningStruck#grid/user/AC4E7783C45F0DDD
Also, Daft Punk'd should come with some kind of "extra rare" technologic remix althouth I've never heard about it and it doesn't really sound that good to be honest.

Where exactly is your source for this? If it's released on December 6th 09 then we'll see it there then.
Daft Punk never authorized the album, and that's why it was taken down, I have no reason to see why they'd suddenly put it on there again. I searched it on Google and all I got was this fake album of songs that they sampled.
It was licensed by Daft Life LTD, though. And it's still for sale on every othe rmajor music store...

Fake. "Yeah this album is really rare but its removed after a while."
DO people really believe this?

uh, I'm sick of explaining this. I made a mistake it was actually realeased on dec 6th, 08. And I'm sure I explained my source very well. ITUNES, if you didn't get that. You seem to know alot about leftovers already so i think my work here is done.

It was labelled as "various artists", so it doesn't show up in the Daft Punk listings. My bad.
Here's the link (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/d-punkd-a-tribute-to-daft-punk/id334150977).

Well leftovers left awhile ago and I recently discovered this. This said it was released on dec 6th, 2008, but maybe they took this one off too and added it again. Not really sure but at least we know that leftovers is gone but a new version came.

"Leftovers is Back" - he only meant it showed up on iTunes again.
You know, there's a possibility here that no one might have thought of. DP might be trying to get out of their contract by releasing a crap album just to fulfill contractual obligations, like the unreleased Alan Parsons Project album, "The Sicilian Gambit." When relationships with the label get strained, weird stuff like this can start to happen.

I think Electromatic once made one.
However, if you search 'Daft Punk Leftovers' on Google, their should be torrents on the first page.
