At the end of the day, what ever will make him money, George Lucas will be all over it. I'm sure if Head and Shoulders offered him enough money we would be seeing commercials with Chewbacca getting Dandruff.

Anyway, it might be worth noting that Daft Punk wear Adidas shoes. Maybe that has something to do with their appearance in the ad. They did after all do that GAP commercial out of sponsorship for cripes sakes, so this isn't completely out of the ordinary.

I think a fairer assessment would be we don't know if its them or not and its impossible to tell, but more their likely its their doubles since its just a 60 second long commercial. But does it really matter? No.

Oh man, I sorry you guys, I absolutely love this. I'm not sure why but this just makes me smile. I mean, I think Adidas is a pretty decent clothing company, I quite like Star Wars and just seeing Daft Punk meeting Darth Vader is the craziest and funniest thing I've ever seen in a while.

Yeah that guy in our garrison is over 6 foot tall on his own, and the costume adds a few inches, so he makes a good Vader.

I've seen some of those shorter Vader's, too. Its kinda funny. I don't like to Stereotype but that seems to happen in Asian a lot. "Aren't you a little short to be a Sith Lord?"

You can still find them at Adidas Originals stores, but other than that no. They are sold out online, and are being sold for OUTRAGEOUS amounts on ebay atm.

I am actually on route to NYC right now with a fellow stormtrooper comrade and were going to be appearing at this event with a few other brothers in armor like the last event we did that I showed pics of.

We were only told by the officials that Snoop Dogg was going to be there, but then again they told us that a week ago. Maybe things have changed.

They contacted the CO of the New York Empire Garrison, and they needed some extra help so they asked our garrison for some back up. I think the guy in charge of publicity at Lucasfilm (Steve Sansweet) has all the e-mails of the head honcho's in different garrisons, and they get contacted directly.

Unfortunately, I had to turn around and come home. I wont go into detail but I am sitting in the hospital right now and someone close to me is not doing well at all...
