Going to listen the OST before the movie?

So will you listen to the Tron Legacy OST before the movie comes out or will you whait until you see the movie?

Dont know what to do, about this thing and... I allready preordered but i somehow dont whant to spoil the movie, dont know, what do you think?

I'm going to wait. I always love hearing a certain track in a movie that's amazing and then downloading it later. Then when I'm listening to it, I can remember that scene again that it'll replay in my head.

The OST is going to be released 6th December all over the world right? And the movie over here, Europe 26th January or 9 February (actually dunno when lol). So that's a whole while between it. I'm going to get the OST for 'Sinterklaas' or Christmas, so I'm going to listen it before the movie anyways. Yeah, I'll go watch the movie, for both the movie (story and stuff) AND to see Daft Punk appear ^^

Here in Bulgaria (which is in Europe), it will be released on 17th December.It's only two weeks between the OST and the movie, but I'm deffinitely going to listen to the tracks before the premiere.

I'll be listening to the music first. Mainly because it's out before the film, but I also think that way I can enjoy the experience twice. Once because it's new Daft Punk, and then again when I see it alongside the story and effects of the movie. It's like listening to an album before going to a gig... kinda... :p

In France, the movie is released on one of those 2 dates (that I said), 9t febr says Daft Punk's Facebook. So confusing >.<

I'm hoping I have the self-discipline to hold off from listening to the soundtrack until I see the movie.

I didn't look at any of the Youtube clips of the Alive 2006 tour before seeing the show and this was definitely the way to go.

I'm no sci-fi head but the Tron visuals look absolutely stunning and I've never seen a movie in 3D so I'm seriously excited about seeing it.

*exhale* Thats gonna be tough, trying to resist listening to the first songs dp has made in the studio for 5 years? Daft Punk is the reason i'm interested in this film, it really does look cool but when i heard they were making the score, i swear i flipped. But when i heard there're making a cameo appearance, I needed a new pair of pants. So i will listen to the album first, the movie comes out about 10 days after the album so, its not that far away :love:

I wish I had the willpower to wait until the movie comes out to hear the OST but I don't. I went to Tron Night to see 23 minutes of the film in 3D IMAX & I was blown away from an audio & visual standpoint. I'm gonna check out any of the film or soundtrack the 1st second that I can. This film & soundtrack are going to be amazing.

That's great to hear! I was afraid it'd be one of those films where the trailers are mind-blowing but the actual film isn't as great....getting really excited now!

i still have that fear, to tell you the truth. just because disney has already started to do a lot of advertising, and most times, when a movie is advertised heavily, its not that good. not that i don't have faith in daft punk's music, i do, i'm just talking about the actual movie itself. hm. oh well. maybe i'll be wrong. i really hope so. it looks great from what i've seen so far.
