I don't know guys, I'm a little disappointed, most of the tracks sound the same...

I can't do it. To listen for 30 seconds and then get savagely cut off just makes me rage D:

So forget it XD I put in my pre-order. I'll just wait until I can enjoy it properly >>

I'm liking what I hear. Who knew I would be this interested in a film score? I respect the fact that they worked with an orchestra on this. Great job by Daft, as always, but I really need to hear the full tracks though.

Of course the tracks sound similar. This is a movie soundtrack and they want to set a certain mood for the film.

I have to say I am reluctant to listen to samples - SAMPLES - before I get my CD.

Yet at the same time it's so tempting...Meh, I'll like it no matter what because Daft Punk's made it.

wow man this is so crazy. I never really truely loved electronic music cause i felt that all the songs kind of sounded the same, but this is just amazing

aghh thanks for the link but after hearing it my expectations for it are a bit low...
five years without even a whisper from daft punk and now I'm really hoping most of the tracks pick up instead of the slow orchestrated sound....
it just doesn't feel right :\
But I'm reserving my opinion for when I can hear the full songs of course :p

i think alive 06-07 counts as a bit more than a whisper :P especially when most people seem to consider the alive 2007 album as better than HAA.

i only listened to end of the line,thats the one m looking forward to the most.i want the rest to be brand new to me when i buy the physical copy on the 7th.

Exactly! And this why i wasn't expecting this CD to deliver anything amazing really(would have still bought the CD of course because it's Daft Punk), but then i heard derezzed and my hype meter went all the way to the roof.

Now i got a say my initial thoughts about this album are back. Can't wait for their live tour, but this album wont unfortunately be my favorite one... still got the deluxe CD already pre-ordered and i know there's at least 1 song i like and of course wanna hear the full real songs. :happy:

I hope that the film will open peoples eyes to Daft Punk, and I hope that the classical element of the soundtrack will introduce Daft Punk fans to Classical Music :)
