Seems like a bit of a complicated sample, but those vocals sound spot on.

uh, the vox are pitched higher in fresh than that. in fact, the whole sample is in the wrong key when he did it. i'm calling a no on this one. but a billy joel song is not out of my mind yet.

Not really 100% on this one. The video was a bit crap on explaining everything.

Hmm, I can see how it works, but I have to agree with theworldisdaft on this one. But then again, DP really like to work over their songs and add little tweaks to make it sound awesome.

Meh, I'll sit on the fence.

I lol'd so much xD

I don't think its a sample
I'm really doubting this as well. I thought that DP made that sound (from the vid) themselves, with a synth or something.
I'm a very very very little disappointed they sample so much :(

You didn't watch the whole video man. He pitches down Fresh at the end and you can hear much better than the vocals plus the pitched down sample from Just the Way you Are fit in very nicely. DP probably combined both, then sped it up.

It's almost the exact same, how can you doubt it? No seriously whats makes you guys say no?

i don't buy the vid... not saying that it's impossible for that to be the sample(s), but the video doesn't present it convincingly enough to me. the "recreation" sounds too dissimilar to the actual song for it to be sure.

My reason is Perfect Pitch ears saying "different notes!". Just our opinions, can't we all have them?

I never challenged your right to express your opinion... Maybe someone with good sampling knowledge here can take a crack at it because the video was poorly done.

Clever, clever! Though I can't say it sounds exactly from "Just the Way You Are." That particular refrain said to be sampled for Fresh could just be from something else.
Not sure about the YEAH, either, but that part does sound fitting.

Yeah, the video left explanation to be desired.

I can see where you can see the similarity. Sounds like a sample to me.

ok, the first bit of vocal i'm going to say no
but the second, longer vocal is most likely it.
