We have now got a Daft Punk - "Human After All" multitrack out of the DJ Hero 2 disc that is PERFECT and totally SKIP FREE!! The process I followed to extract it is documented in the included batch file.
All mirrors point to the same file. Open with 7-zip. http://7-zip.org/

Yes I am a 1337 haxx0r. (I had help from several people but I'm the one who put the puzzle pieces together and finally got this done)
(later edit) Forgot the 60 byte XMA header you need if you wanna pull tracks out of the game yourself using my method. here you go (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=YUPV9JGX).

How about you re-up it in a ".rar" folder?
Or maybe a ".zip" folder?

How about you re-up it in a ".rar" folder?
Or maybe a ".zip" folder? You can if you want. I don't use .zip for this stuff because it's not compressed well enough and I don't use .rar because it's a proprietary file format protected by a bogus patent requiring people to pay for something that should be built into the OS. You can use 7-zip (http://7-zip.org/) or if you don't like the idea of installing 7-zip try PeaZip Portable (http://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/peazip_portable). WinRAR sucks.

I actually have WinRAR and I opened up the file perfectly fine with it, lol.
Props.

Oh crap. I forgot to include the header file that the batch script in there calls for. If anybody wants it I can upload that too. It's just 60 bytes and it's the key to stopping the skips.
I'm gonna be working on DJ Hero 2 more in the coming days and if there is anything else worth getting in that game, I will find it. :) Like that D.A.N.C.E. remix for example.

The batch and FSB is just how to get the music. The 3 music files are the files you got?

I don't mean to put you to task, but could you check to see if there were any "dummied-out" mixes (ones that didn't appear in the game, a la this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LGU8v-o7Qjs) for the first one)?

The batch and FSB is just how to get the music. The 3 music files are the files you got?No, the 3 files I got were .wav but I converted to FLAC to make the download size smaller. FLAC is a lossless format so there is absolutely no quality loss at all, none, no really, they're digitally perfect. If you convert back to WAV you will get exactly what I got. If you want the original WAV files then you can do what I did to get them cause I'm not uploading that crap cause it's twice as big.
Just listening to the acapella is amazing. ^^ Thank you!Yeah I think so too :)

I have 6 done so far including Human After All. (Well, a few more than that if you include the Linkin Park DLC) I believe there are 108 songs on the disc. Unfortunately I have to do alot of it by hand because every attempt to automate the FSB extraction using scripting has resulted in bad files and I can't figure out why. If there are any such hidden tracks, then if they're in the same file format as the rest of the game then I will find them. Eventually.
If you guys are interested in helping with this DJ Hero 2 extraction, I could upload a DJ Hero 2 song ripping kit for you guys that has the necessary tools

Your download is probably corrupted because nobody else had a problem. Try a different mirror.

Here are the multi's for "Justice - D.A.N.C.E. (A-Trak Remix)" from DJ Hero 2. All mirrors point to the same file. Use 7-zip to open. http://7-zip.org/

Can I just say again how cool you are for doing this? Also it's pretty cool that this can all be done using files found in a video game. Props to both you and FSG for making these awesome mixes.

OK reupload time for D.A.N.C.E. I guess.
Just track1, track2 and track3 are from DJ Hero 2. I included some other bonus crap associated with D.A.N.C.E. that as a remixer you'll probably want as well.

So were you ever able to get around to ripping the rest of the soundtrack? It seems like the rest of the internet gave up on it once the franchise was cancelled.

I got it all, man. But I expected posting it would get complaints from admins who are consistently inconsistent about this crap. It's been posted elsewhere before
