Request to their manager is probably your best bet, though your request would probably be more successful if you had a venue express interest in a show.
Alive2011, you're kinda being a troll today. wtf

Just so you know - you will also need to prepare a few hundred thousand dollars.
If you contact Daft Punk on the behalf of a festival without the festivals consent or as part of the festivals management you'll probably get sued for fraud.
To book your own Daft Punk show, have alot of money ready, book the venue (more money), license a ticketing company (money), apply for a license from your local council to host a large event (money) and sign the health and safety contract (money and more money for insurance), pending inspection to ensure that your event will be safe. Then book Daft Punk and their road crew the flights and accomodation to make it nice and painless for them and hire a security team. (money money money money money!)
I could go on and on.
You stand no chance kiddo :)

I'm fairly certain there's a difference between 'request' and 'booking an event'.
However he's right. Seriously, you need to have money and credibility behind you along with its resources if you actually want a show to happen.

Probably by email unless you want to write him an old school letter. I don't know who he is, but I do know it's a 'he' so that should narrow it down a little, also try digging around their website a little, maybe EMI can give you hints.

I'm fairly certain there's a difference between 'request' and 'booking an event'.This is true, but 'requesting a show' is pretty pointless, it would probably be more successful booking the event personally

I think if you legitimately tried to convince Daft Punk or their Manager to come to a certain location just because you want them to it would have fruitless results, and probably not accomplish anything.
If I were you I would just send them some fan mail (If you can find an address), and tell them how much you love them, and how you hope they come near your area on their next tour. Don't ask or beg, just say how much you would love to see them in concert. Odds are nothing will come of it, but who knows? There's always a chance.

Your best bet is fan mail or a formal email to their manager then. I know their offices are in LA and poking around EMI would probably get you an e-address.
Fact of the matter is though, where they decide to tour is in their hands.

Really?? Since When?
Speaking of which, does anyone know who they're managed by now? I thought since Busy P stopped managing them, they've been managing themselves.

They have a manager in LA somewhere, that's all I know.

I wouldn't be surprised if they have some real "suit and tie" type manager(s) now, now that their fame has increased. But Daft Punk have always gone out of their way to give themselves creative freedom in their contracts, so in a sense they do manage themselves. They probably just had to get some one more professional (no offense Pedro) to do all the paper work and fun stuff like that.

uhh... no? i've definitely heard the new manager's name before, and Pedro knows about him (obviously) and is happy for his boys to be moving up. besides, you're thinking of the remix album, not the soundtrack itself. i don't really follow these things, but iirc, Pedro loved the OST.
as for the manager's name, it's definitely been published, and i believe even mentioned on this forum. i just can't recall what it is atm, since it's a sort of "boring"/regular name and it wasn't that important for me to know. Daft Punk are pretty notoriously difficult to get in contact with--for fans at least--so good luck!
