Man I wish I used the templates you did when I made my Thomas. Where did you find your template?

i had these from a LONG time ago. i dont even remember where i got them, i would send them to you, but i think there was some dispute about dungobeetles files so i want to stay on the safe side

Are these the files that were pulled? I want to say they are still available..... I made each of these about 1 month ago, so i think you can still get them. Look around the site(page 437 on tips and tricks thread).

what i mean is dungobeetle pulled them, other people posting them is going against what he did, that has nothing to do with what he did.

i have found one problem so far. and it's the same mistake that i made. you used regular printer paper by the looks of it. i regret doing so

How are you going to go about creating the visors, particularly Guy Man's?

I started the Guy Helmet from the same file the other week, so be interested to see how you progress as well. I am currently working on the sanding and smoothing of the P38 (UK bondo equivalent) though it is taking an age as I find something I'm not happy with start fixing that and then it seems to create another issue.
For creating the visor for mine I have made a small vacuum forming machine as per the guides available on instructables or whatever it was, there are working example videos all over youtube.
Once I am happy with the helmet I plan on making a silcone mould of it and casting it in resin. Then using the original helmet visor (cut off the helmet) for the vacuum forming process. Hopefully going for a tron-esque version using 6 car LED strips, just deciding on the finish as I don't think I'll be going down the professional chroming route as its just for halloween. Might see if I can get 2 casts made from the resin I have as could be interesting to do a different style finish to the usual chrome/gold chrome I seen

nice helmets! :D
I also used dung0beetle's files too.
Right now I'm trying to redo my Thomas helmet as I didnt have time to properly sand and fill with the short amount of time I had last year.
