Daft Punk - Sky Dive 2012

So on Facebook, Daft Punk Latino America (my friends liked it so i could see it in my feed), posted a picture of a girl on some forum talking about how she uses her dads flash drive from time to time. She saw a folder named "Dank Punk Promos" and decided to post i on sendspace. I downloaded the files and honestly, they are the same style, if not very similar, to daft punk's style of music. She posted it even though she's not much of a DP fan, so i thought that was interesting.

And i can not be 100% sure, but they are too predictable, an unoriginal. I actually like 2/3 of the songs, but i just know that daft punk wouldnt make them.

REAL OR FAKE?

Imagine our surprise when someone left a sendspace link to some supposedly new Daft Punk material from a new album called ‘Sky Dive’ on our comments section. Well, naturally we’d ignore it, we didn’t even bother downloading them at first, but like any DP fan the curiosity got to us, so we thought it was worth a peep.

Here’s what the leakster had to say: “My name’s Emma, I’m 19 and i live in London UK!

“My dad works at Virgin Records in the UK and has access to the servers on their computers. He came home Friday night with a USB stick, i use it from time to time for my files for Uni. I had to put some photos from my computer to my dads so i used his USB on Sunday. When i did so, i found something interesting…”

“I found a file on the USB titled ‘Daft Punk – Sky Dive (2012) (Promo Previews)’

Ahhh...this is just as bad a before the Tron OST was released. These sorts of threads kept popping up all the time. I guess the new activity on the forums is going to cause a whole bunch of these. At least it isn't as bad at the moment as during that whole "The Third Twin" bull**** that was going on.

I don't blame you for not knowing, but in the future you might want to consider the likelihood of something like this legitimately happening without the internet having a collective seizure. I think it is intresting to discuss about it, i think that the album name Sky Dive could refere 2 the dead of dj Mehdi ho was a very good friend of Thomas & Guy-Man.

About the songs, if you are a real Daft Punk fan, you hear that the sound of the production is very bad and if you listen to the song LCD you hear a false note in it, do you think daft punk would make a record with a false note in it ???
And do you think they would make a second Discovery Album ? They dont do thinks twice ...

I asked 4 confirmation from Play Paul ( brother of Guy-Man) and still waiting 4 it...

It was almost the same when Human After All was released, it was on the net and everybody was sayin' it was a fake, till the release date came and the leaked album was the right one...

On the other hand, DP are not from yesterday, they changed the image on there website & facebook on 11/11 so it could be in there strategy to get some fake mp3's out on the net hoping people will share these fake tracks, so if you would like to download on the release you get all the fake mp3's ...

I also say someone's comment on facebook about their new logo, "It is the same one they used in Musique Vol. 1, so could this possibly be Musique Vol. 2?"

I don't know...Sky Dive sounds fake because it doesn't sound like DP would really name an album. Bringing up that they're albums usually had references to themselves most of the time. Sky Dive....Face Plant...Guy-Man After All....

Skydive is fake, although the the song "Wating Line ft. Mr Oizo" (My favourite) Is actually by the upcoming artist "Jabup". The original, full version is called "Spit Roast" and "Waiting Line" is just an exract of it, so those of you who like the track, there is the full version. "Jabup" was also the artist that originally created "Fragile", which I'm sure you all know of.
