Daft Punk Film Trailer

Hey Hey,
Im a film student and I made this the other day, not for a project or anything but just for fun.
Im not trying to plug my Youtube channel or anything like that, just wanted to show you guys and maybe get some feedback.

Originally it was gonna be something like an opening title sequence, but then It turned into a trailer. Its not to hard to pinpoint when that happened. I know the transition is pretty bad, but thats all I could do.

Im also pretty new to this forum so I hope all that posted fine.

I like the idea, but Katie Perry with daft punk..also the the quality wasn't the greatest, but thats what happens when you use a youtube rip lol, other than that cant wait :D

Pretty cool trailer, but I agree about the Katy Perry thing.

I would've just used Daft Punk's music considering it's a Daft Punk trailer.

But again, it was very well done.

I may sound a bit out of order here, but if daft punk happened to have a biopic. I sort of feel like they would prefer not to use there own music; in their own modest sort of way. Sort of like in electroma. I dunno.

In retrospective the katy perry remix was probably a bad idea. I just liked the stop/start bit at the beginning.

I actually like some Katy Perry songs lol, but yeah, I still liked the trailer.

Really good, i love the trailer, i dont like Katy Perry neither, but it sounds good, but it would sound a lot better with DP musique only ^^

I actually quite like the music choice. It built up the tension quite well. The cut off point and transition to the next bit of music, however, was really jarring. It seemed like it was either mid word or mid sentence and the tempo and beat position clashed with the actual Daft Punk music played after it.

Hahaha, I dont think I'll be making it anytime soon. I think it would be a great concept for a film though, and hopefully some producers or executives will think of it soon enough. It might even be me making it in a few years.:D Doubt it though.
