i'm gonna start fresh on this one (i promise this will be the last thread, haha).
it was almost a month ago when i completed and uploaded "2009"; and i can't say that i have more originals on the horizon. but, when i have the time and inspiration, i'll gladly whip up another.
anywho, while i don't have any originals planned as of yet, i have a remix of "face to face" by daft punk which will be around a few days. i also have more remixes happening; and lately i've taken a solid appreciation to the genre "boom bap", which is a hip hop orientated genre, inspired mainly from nineties hip hop, with jazz and funk samples and real punchy drums. if you haven't heard it, or haven't given the opportunity to listen, i suggest you do; to me, it holds quite a similarity to french house, except i've found this generally inspires more of a "kick back, chill out" sort of setting (obviously, depending on the sample used). i'm pretty confident in the idea that this genre will influence my music more.
