I want to start Daft Punk project on Wikia.com - I just filled the request form... anyone interested in participating?

What kind of project? The links on wikia.com take you to the Daft Punk Wikipedia article.

Right now it's on the http://requests.wikia.com/wiki/Daftpunk - you can vote there using {{Support}} or {{Oppose}} template.

Just click on [Edit] button on the right of the "Comments from the community" section (on the bottom of the page) and copy-paste this, if you're registered on wikia:

* {{Support}} ~~~~

This will make it look like (+) Support, your wikia nick, if you're registered, your time and date.

If you ain't registered on wikia, copy and paste this:

* {{Volunteer}} ~~~~

This will be the sign that you are new users and you're ready to participate in project, if it will be made.

I think I could start a WikiProject about Daft Punk on Wikipedia also. I have seen WikiProjects about bands lately on there.

Wikiproject is a part of a Wikipedia with articles only about specified subject.

douglasr007 - don't. Wiki would be a better idea, we can create there some nice communnity and make articles about Daft Punk easily - everyone can create and edit them.

Why? It's encyclopedia about Daft Punk, dude! You have to create account (link in the upper right corner on the screen) and you can write articles about Daft Punk!

if what hani is talking about is what i'm familiar with, think of it as a daftpedia. as in, instead of having just one page/article, you can have as many pages/articles for separate entities about daft punk as you want. but other than that, the format is the same as wikipedia; it's like a wikipedia devoted only to daft punk. :3

i don't understand why it's so confusing for you guys... ^^;;

think of it as a Daftpedia: instead of an online encyclopedia about everything, it's an encyclopedia for only Daft Punk.
