catchy as hell.back in the 90s itde be a dead-cert radio hit,but that was when dance was more mainstream and hip-hop and r n b were less established (im talking about in the uk here,obviously,im assuming electronic music never made it as big in the us).unfortunately,the last 10 years or so dance music has fallen out of favour,so whereas there is radio-friendliness about embody,it wont make it big outside of clubs and the underground.

The album has leaked in case anyone didn't know. Amazing. The M.I.A. track is really the only new track that is lackluster. Kindercut could have passed as the return of Daft Punk in my book. Arabest and Prime are both fantastic. Tetra (feat. Gaspard Auge) channels veridis quo meets planisphere vibes and doesn't disappoint. 9.5/10 for me.

I finally managed to download Total after spending 2 days trying to download it. What a fantastic album! Was really not expecting it to be that freeeking good! Embody, Kindercut, Jack Wire, Tetra and Yes are all absolutely amazing songs. Yes there are some fillers but 90% of this is nothing short of incredible, especially as it is a debut. All of the interludes are surprisingly good aswell. I tip my hat to you Seb, was really impressed with it and I mean really impressed. My album of the year so far.

To answer some question about TETRA, this is a featuring with Gaspard Augé (half of Justice) so that explain the "melodic aspect" of this song. Actually I don't believe that song was a sample, this is not the same thing of Planisphère. The using of harpsichord probably influenced your perception of the song.

I agree with everything you have just said. Love In Motion has grown on me like crazy! Loved Embody the second I heard it and same with Kindercut. Anyone else think that Tetra sounds like something off the Rubber Soundtrack? Is that the direction that Gaspard is going in now cause I love that sound.

Nothing in the UK which I personally think is a dissapointment seeing as it is a more obvious choice of the European countries. Nothing in the UK which I personally think is a dissapointment seeing as it is a more obvious choice of the European countries. I'M SO PISSED OFF I TOTALLY WISHED I CLONED MYSELF me and my mates were down the road from him!!! we were in another club moshing to diplo, flux pavilion, a-trak, nero, magnetic man and feed me etc etc. (so worth the $44 after party ticket!!). but still!

i was right at the middle at the front for sebastian
he was amazing. most of the crowd was there for example who was on after him which was **** but we were just like going crazy! he was so badass, sipping on a vodka orange and just chucking his ciggies off his platform and just puffing new ones. he pointed at my friend and blew her a kiss, because she was wearing a sebastiAn shirt hahaha. he didn't play love in motion in his set though, i would have thought he did but walkman is so lovely live. :)

That video looks like it's either going to be the most adorable thing ever or the most disturbing thing ever.

Having just watched it I'd have to say it's somehow both. It was definitely pretty unsettling (especially the "Games" intro), but at the same time it was a little humorous. The girl's "routine" was played for laughs at points (like when she kicks the balloon), and from an aesthetic standpoint - wow. It's incredibly well-made, especially for something done in a single (albeit rigorously-rehearsed, I'm sure) take.
