Here ya go.
I got it from America. Possibly part of Virgin USAs Daft Punk marketing.
It has a map of the world on one side and "Daft Punk" "Around The World" on the other side.
Also got a bunch of Discovery stickers with it too. Not bad for $10.

Japanese stuff from eBay mostly.
Predator, you need to upload your pic to somewhere like photobucket first. Then once its uploaded it will give you an IMG address for it. You simply copy and paste that into your post.

dowzerr
17th Jul 2007, 10:36
I think the most expensive things were the Discovery cockpit poster top right. It was £20. The little lego figures were about £30 but they are unboxed.
The Shimmies records were about £15. The last Shimmies I saw on eBay went for £50!
I've got more on the way. lol
All in all its probably in the hundreds of pounds but its a passion.
p.s I do have some spare stuff.
dowzerr - can you spare me some of this "spare stuff"? Please? Pretty please? :P

dowzerr
17th Jul 2007, 22:14
When you upload a picture to photobucket, right click on the picture and hit "properties". Highlight and copy the URL (http://...). Click on "post reply" on the thread you wish to paste the picture and click on the little picture of a tree and this will bring up . Place the cursor in the middle of ][ and right click and paste the URL.
Hope this helps :)
JJGHWULL
17th Jul 2007, 22:15

17th Jul 2007, 22:38
The little lego figures were about £30 but they are unboxed.
They are 'Kubricks' and were originally availlable with the japanese Human After All Remixes CD.
There are also Discovery era ones (known as bearbricks) that only came with the Japanese version on Interstella 5555
Oh yeah..I got those sticker too :)
dowzerr

This may sound unrelated but I'm selling two sealed copies of Interstella 5555 on eBay if anyone is interested. US only - I don't really want to do international things.
How much did those sticker sheets cost?

I've seen various packs with the albums stuck together. I think they're released by the record companies in their respective countries. Only really worth buying if its at a loooooow price I think.

they were talking about similar packaging deals in another thread. from my understanding, there's nothing special about it. just all three bundled together; no extras except the convenience of buying all three at the same time.

is this the kind of merch they sell at the concerts?
dowzerr
19th Jul 2007, 18:17
No. The only thing you'll get at the concerts is the "Alive" T shirts.
Actually. If anybody has any "spares" I might be interested in a swap or 2.
bladez
19th Jul 2007, 19:04
They sell more than the Alive shirts on the current tour. Interstella figures have been for sale, plus Electroma Poster (sometimes signed if you are lucky) and some stickers.
I'd pay 100 euros to anyone who can get me a signed poster.

The Alive ones were definitely not for sale at Hyde Park - I went to every merch stall and asked about signed posters but all they had was the Electroma ones.
So hence, if anyone here is going to a DP show and wants to grab a signed poster abd double their money, let me know!!!

anyway, i've heard the pink ones (or one of the pink designs? not sure) is a slim fit, so i suppose it's "women's" or "girly."

JJGHWULL
22nd Jul 2007, 08:46
Yes, the Pink ones are girly shirts. Gay that they are expensiver...
do you think that would be flagrantly gay if I got one? haha.
I'm just not the big fan of pink shirts...
...
... well, yeah, it would be so gay :P
Aero5555
22nd Jul 2007, 13:30
It aint naughty, it's just feminine, so it wouldn't be suited to be worn by a guy (in other words, it would be gay :P ). Even my friend (who I bought a shirt for) told me straight away that " The pink ones are clearly for girls ", and I was explaning the shirts to him on the phone.
He didn't even know what the shirts looked like until I sent him the pic of me holding the shirt ( posted on the Poster For Daft Punk topic if you're intrested :P ), he replied to me " Man I love your shirt ", I replied " this one's yours ", he replied " WHAT!??!?! THANK YOU!!! XD " LOL!

Aero5555

That's new to me, but I can tell you aint enjoying the fact that we don't consider the color pink as unisex, you love the color that much huh? ( pink robot... duh! XD ), well maybe this'll cheer you up, I actually saw this one guy wearing the pink shirt (i'm not making this up, I have witnesses), but I gotta admit it was funny.

nah, i just think that the idea of "just 'cause it's pink means you look gay" isn't that great.
i have a few gay guy friends, and they actually wear pink less than some of my straight guy friends.
more props to ya if you're a guy pimpin' the pink!
lol i wear pink but that doesn't mean im gay or anything i just wear pink sometimes because it looks good....fashion is something u think is unique and to ur liking...

24th Jul 2007, 00:06
Yeah, they had (I think) 15 signed posters in all at the LA show. Apparently, where they were selling shirts, posters and stickers outside wasn't supposed to open until 5 but they were selling at around 4 anyways. When I had got up there they paused and said they werent selling anything more until 5...and a few of the signed posters had already been sold. Luckily a few minutes later they were ready and a guy looked at me, asked me what I wanted and I pointed to the Daft Punk Autographed Poster (as opposed to the Electroma one) and forked over my $75. Then I proceeded to buy $225 worth of t-shirts for friends, that was fun.

What should I do to have more hope of having more of this ridiculously rare merchandise? I can't go back in time and make myself a fan about 6 years earlier than I was, is my only hope emmigrating to Japan?
ps: I was well tempted to get a pink shirt, but they had run out by then.
JaceInman
26th Jul 2007, 09:21
back to the pink, I like pink, I just was wondering if it was completely women's style, it obviously is.
but I have a pink pair of bapestas, but no pink clothing to match them, so against you guy's judgement, I am going to buy 1 pink one (pyramid design) and 2 blue designs, that way I am all around good to go.
and do you guys think there will be stickers and signed posters at the denver concert?
how much should I bring if I wan 3 tees, 1 electroma poster, 1 signed poster, and like 3 stickers (large)?
