Work, Rest & Play

I would just like to do a shameless plug for my video series on YouTube called Work, Rest & Play. It's a series about anything and everything concerning my life and things around it (it's not as prententious as it sounds)
It's accessible from my channel (www.youtube.com/spurway1992) and is uploaded every Sunday.
The episode run is from july 11 to december 16 with a two part season final.
All content is off the top of my head, yet it is 100% true. They run from 5-10 minutes.
It is solely created by me and will feature more and more content as time goes on:D
I care about what I say, and usually if I say something out of line, I correct it in the next episode.
I love feedback from it so I produce quality and not just some crappy video.

When you sign up you simply change an option to "music, comedian or director".
But Youtube have now refused videos beyond 10 minutes, which is why mine are so short.

Actually I'm pretty sure they shorten it to try and curb people uploading copyright material. Somehow I don't think Youtube are anywhere close to running out of space or bandwidth.

As me being who I am, I thought I should know that the support I am getting from you and from my friends is overwhelming.

Hello everyone.
On August 15 (today), I have pulled all Work, Rest & Play videos from YouTube and am not posting any more until September 2.
Why?
Because I am being forced to pull my videos because me talking about my school and my life because of school is vilifying and risk-taking. I took a calculated risk, but after advice from a certain person and a long discussion, it was best to pull the videos and start again.
My supposed 'freedom of speech' was non-existant. I am pulling the videos because I am telling the truth. Because I am giving a voice to myself and those who are victimised because of social problems. I exposed myself to give the whole story. In turn, any four out of my six videos so far included anger at those who are making my life hell as I know it.
I am sorry to say that. My freedom of speech was destroyed. It is no longer safe (not that it was in the first place) to express my emotion over certain subjects. It is quite sad to think that the reason I am removing my videos is because I am scared of any rebuke I may get.
I made these videos to be wholesome and truthful and blatant. I'm backing into a corner because it's the right thing to do for now.
Episode 3 and Episode 6 will be reposted as Episode 3 and 6 respectively when the video starts again. Episode's 1, 2, 4 and 5 will be re-posted later this year, when I deem the situation safe enough to repost the videos which speak out against the tide of oppression and vilification existing in my social life today.
So, on September 2, a redone Episode 1 will air, entitled "Freedom of Speech". From then on, videos will be more refined and will take on a more post-modern approach, discussing politics, religion, history, art, music and the like, but I will entail such subjects like bullying, social lives and school. I'm sorry to say that, and I sound commercialised. But later this year, the deleted WR&P episodes will re-appear.
One last thing...
The two part season finale I have been planning and umm-ing and err-ing over its controversial nature, will DEFINATLY go ahead, now this stupid problem has arisen.
I apologise once again, and I thank everyone who watched it for commenting it and supporting it.
Believe me, this sucks. Alot.

Well, it seems that re doing my series is challenging, and I have some new material to broadcast very soon.
BUT, Work, Rest & Play is dead. IT will never be revived under that name (until I repost the removed eps). Instead there is a new name - The Wrap.
WR&P looks similar to the word 'wrap' huh? OKAY so it's not totally gone. But it will not be episode 1, 2, 3 etc. anymore. They will be posted randomly whenevr I have a good idea. From Sept 2 - 9 there will be 3 episodesso if you want updates, it's easier to subscribe. Expect the good old stuff returning plus the office AND a glass of water:D

Work Rest & Play started in July as a series of videos that were a cross between a journal and infotainment series. If it was still going it touched on my life (1993-2005), school, friends etc. But personal issues forced me to withdraw them - so I am recreating the series called "The Wrap"... this series will be less autobiographical but more post modern. When it starts it will talk about current issues like the APEC meeting and Father's Day, while still retaining its controversial and blatant nature (yes I got death threats and outrage over it). You are more than welcome to comment. I believe you have my myspace under 'spurway.'. There are 3 blogs there: about it, the withdrawal, and the rebranding. Have a look - they explain fully.

I got a delightfully nasty comment from my ex-best friend who was worried my spat at him on my old series would ruin his credibility. He had this to say on my 'freedom of speech' video

This is the most self obsessed trivial arrogant video yet. Nick it time 2 realize that everybody at 1 stage in there life gets paid out don't be so soft. I sorry if this is harsh, but freedom of speech! You had 2 pull those videos because it called slander nick it a crime! You say that things people say don't get 2 you but why bitch about it on youtube?
This is not the real nick, for those people who nick does not go 2 school with, he always laughs at nothing really loud for no reason. When ur with him he cuts evry1 your talking 2 out of the conversation and talks as though he is better than every1. Now. I admit I may bitch and whine over some things - Like APEC and stuff. It's opinions! I can do anything within reason, and I susally have evidence to back it up. And I do laught at things that are never there, becasue I have a different sense of humour to many. And if I come across as arrogant I am sorry! I don't mean it... And as far as cutting people out - I rarely get a chance to say anything and this fellow here does everything in his power to cut me out of any conversation and I never act like I am better than anyone else. My social life is already crappy, why would I parade myself like that?
And I pulled the videos, as you know, because if some people at school took it to my headmaster I would get expelled. I don't care about any flak i get from it, it was the truth. and the truth is sometimes sour. and i know everyone will get paid out at one time in thier life and I actually am a fat softie (i cried when I saw that comment in anger)... But I have put up with **** since 1996... puts things into perspective doesn't it?
but my old series will re-emerge VERY soon, and it will go off with a bang. I will grill people for this. this guy, Michael Filocamo, will get it very very bad.
