I just have a passion for Daft Punk and also for watches (I have 26)
The posters aint all that crumpled, just a bit flexed. I dont have alot of cash but I dont mind spending alot on something I want. I've paid alot for some items and not much for some others so it balances out.

Something I learned is that if you want a signature, make sure to bring a sharpie.

So I got everyone except Guy-Man's autograph in Chicago with a black sharpie I brought. I brought a silver sharpie to Toronto because I wanted DP to sign my Interstella 5555 DVD insert ( and black sharpie on black shiny paper don't show up for ****)... Guy-Man was nice enough to sign both.

DP is really cool for signing autographs as long as you don't take a pic. Thomas and Guy-Man signed 2 postcards and the DVD... I gave the other post card to my best bud as a present.

They might... I've only met them with their masks off...

But it's all about being in the right place at the right time. Both times I met DP were at the Daft Punk Ed Banger after parties. I've read a story of someone meeting Guy-Man at a hotel. So it takes some preparation on you end (knowing where they'll be and bring a sharpie) and a little luck.

Here's my Daft stuff... aside from magazine articles, I'm not that into collecting, so I don't have very much:

CDs, DVDs & Bearbricks - the top row has all the regular releases; second row is the Japanese Alive 2007 that came with the Bearbricks, Alive 2007 2-disc edition, Musique Vol. I w/DVD, and Tron Legacy 2-disc edition; third row is the crappy North American release of the Irreversible soundtrack (that doesn't have all the tracks, grr,) Waves Vol I & II, and a copy of Discovery with a Daft Club card; fourth row is D.A.F.T., the Japanese version of Interstella that came with Bearbricks (which is region 2, but unlike the region 1 version, it includes the interviews with Daft & Leiji Matsumoto in Japan,) the hologram card that comes with it, and Electroma in steelbook. And of course there are the 3 sets of the 100% Bearbricks. I really love the Human After All ones the best, I was thinking of getting a 400% set someday :D

Articles & Vinyl - to make for better scans and to save space, I always remove the articles from the magazines and store them in these 9 X 12" portfolios. They're really handy since they have sheet protector sleeves and each can hold up to 48 pages (I'm on #6 now.) I also have an 11 X 14" one that's about half full of oversized articles, and a manila envelope full of loose clippings and the 2 press kits.

As for vinyl, I have Homework, Alive 1997, Discovery (even if you don't have a turntable, buy a copy of this because it is absolutely gorgeous!) Trax On Da Rocks Vol. I & II, So Much Love To Give, and Shimmies In Super 8 with Darlin' (which is awesome and horrible at the same time, haha.) I wanted to get ALL of Daft Punk's releases, as well as all the Crydamoures & Roules, but I really only got started because collecting vinyl is surprisingly expensive and buying Papabang records took priority...

And for the heck of it, here are my Daniel Vangarde records. On the top is the Daniel Vangarde LP (1975,) Le Monde Fabuleux des Yamasuki (the Japanese-themed experiment that he made with Jean Kluger in 1971; this is the 2005 re-release,) and Who's Who (also DV, released in 1980.) Then there are all the 45's, first row: the En Noir Et En Couleurs EP (1967,) an alternate version of it with only 2 of the songs (released by CBS in 1967,) La Colonie (a collab with Jean Kluger from 1969,) Pi 31416 (another collab with Jean Kluger possibly from 1972,) and the two Dan & Jonas singles (yet another collab with Jean Kluger from 1971.) Last row: Je Suis Charengo & Un Bombardier Avec Ses Bombes (both singles from the LP released in 1975,) Canada (1976,) Ad Libitum (1977, this is the French release,) alternate Italian release of Ad Libitum (1977,) and Le Tango Me Fait Pleurer (1979.) You can probably tell, I'm really proud of these. A year ago, I never dreamed I'd be able to own any of them, and most are over 30 & 40 years old. There's so much history here: not only can you see what kind of legacy Thomas is coming from, but French music in general, which was largely obscure beyond its own borders all the way up until the 90's 0_0

White sleeve is Music Sounds Better With You. It's a reprint or something. The voice is kinda weird, damn it.
Never thought I'd find a Mint in package Discovery vinyl (same for Homework), bought it online from Fnac. Both are probably reprints, cause vinyls are gaining popularity again.

Yeah Waves 1 and 2 would make such sweet vinyls! Although I'm really happy they're on CD. On the CD tracks you can hear some cracks as if you're listening to it on vinyl (especially on waves 1), which is weird but I presume it was intentional. If you have all the singles/EPs from Crydamoure you'll even have a bit more LKC tracks than on Waves 1 and 2 though. I hear there are 1 or 2 singles from Crydamoure on CD actually, would really like to have them.

That would be so awesome if Eric chedeville and guy Manuel. Came back to crydamoure for re mastering of there songs. I love when things are released on vinyl makes things seem more rare since limited are made same goes with certain CDs. I'm glad Thomas decided not to ditch his mini label.

I'm pretty sure Crydamoure was officially stopped a long long time ago, in a country far far away (well not for you). Although crydamoure.com was active till about a year ago. Thomas ditch his label? well Roule hasn't released a thing in 10 years, I HIGHLY doubt something will be released on Roulé again
