I love it when it's dry lightning outside during the summer. Like it's lightning without rain and hardly any thunder. It's a very nice light show.
I like to go outside when it's thunderstorming at night and pouring rain. I go on my driveway and lay there. By the time the rain stops I go inside and I'm completely soaked. It's a nice feeling.

Well the pyramid was super easy, but it took awhile to figure out a good way to make the side objects. Once I found a method, it all went from there :P

I was tinkering around with lights because lights will be a HUGE factor in the final scene, and I've never been good with lights and Maya. So here's what I've come up with (this is only a test so it won't look like this in the final cut)

I cannot wait until Friday night!! I'm taking my Girlfriend? ( I guess I'm not sure what we are right now, crazy situation,sorry getting off-topic.) to see one of my favorite plays Dracula It looks like its going to be totally amazing this year. I've seen it twice but the last time was about five years ago. Apparently it's supposed to be much scarier. It says "Experience the gothic story as you’ve never seen it before with the recently redesigned sets, costumes, lighting and sound—plus new thrills and chills that will keep you on the edge of your seat."

I think it's a good idea for a date. Something original not "lets go see a movie" or some generic **** like that. Plus it's gonna be a really great play :)

Good music for driving? Hmmm, I know I'll sound bias, but anything with loud bass/drums works well, Kavinsky's "Tesstarossa Overdrive" is an epic win, any kind of house music which is fast paced always works great, and recently, I noticed how Genesis instrumentals such as "Second Home By The Sea" and "The Brazilian" go great with the scenery as you drive, the 2nd part of "Domino" is another good choice.

so i may have told you guys yesterday that i was meeting up with an old (female!) friend of mine.

well heres how it went :)

i met up with her at the local industrial estate thingy (with matalan, argos, the range etc) at arround 9:30 time here.

so the main reason i was meeting her was to edit some tracks for her for a dance routine thing shes doing for her birthday (which ive just finished) and because we had the whole day to ourselves we had a walk arround the shops.

so as she has a car and i dont at the moment, she drove us back to ehrs to take her doggy for a walk :) which was quite fun. and while out we were like catching up witth eachother and stuff, so we ended up having a very long and good conversation :)

so we went back to take the dog home , she got ready for her college (we both start at 2 at diff colleges) and she offered to give me a lift back to my 6th form for my last lesson! which was really really nice ;)

and it doesnt end there! im at her birthday party next week (friday evening) so i wont be online, but actuaklly being invited to a party (and having my edits played) makes up for it :) and of course that she will be there :happy:

haha sorry for the long post ^__^ its rare that i get a really good day and have something interesting to say!!!

plus i also found out a girl i thought hated me doesnt hate me!

Congrats, Dark! Even though I skimmed through your post.... so I don't really know what we're talking about...

Ugh, today just wasn't my day. I was tired (even though I got over 9000 hours of sleep last night), and in English we have to write a persuasive essay (which I suck at). Then in seminar some kid ruined one of my horse drawings (which I was going to give to someone) by drawing a penis on it and what looked like raindrops coming out of the rear-end... which made me extremely mad because I spent so long drawing it, and I put heart and soul into my art.

Then when I got home I could look forward to eating crappy Spaghetti-O's and pasta salad. I couldn't figure out how to use the can-opener, then my sister said "Uh, Lauren, the dogs ran away...".
So my grandma was whining and griping about the dogs even though she did NOTHING to help find them, and my sister and I went to find the dogs. We found them, but when we did there was slobber and spit all over the wood floor. After I ate my dinner, my stomach hurt and now I have a headache.

I'm SO GLAD that tomorrow's Friday. And homecoming for our town.

Basically the whole story with us goes like this...Myself, Ashley (The Girl), Michael (Ex) all worked together for like 2 years and there had always been some chemistry between Ashley and I. We flirted a lot at work. I always told her about my problems she was my friend that I could go to when I needed someone to talk to. But they broke up about 2 months ago, and I was her rebound. She calls me out of the blue and is like " I want you now." I feel terrible for doing that to Michael who was one of my friends. But she was throwing herself at me. My last g/f was 4 years ago, what was I supposed to do? I think I would have done what any other 22 year old red blooded male would have done. So of course I get attached to her because I can't "be" with someone and it just be physical without having feelsing for them. Thats just how I am. So of course like a fool I let myself get hurt. Its just the way she ended it was so abrupt. She told me the reason they broke up was that she just "Fell out of love with him." So basically what I think is that she just used me to make Michael jealous I guess so she could get back with him. !sad

I've known this girl for like 3 years, we were always good friends I could always go to her if I needed to talk to someone about anything. She just used me to make her Ex jealous. The very next day after he (her Ex) found out we slept together. She texted me and said she couldn't go with me and that her and Michael were getting back together. If thats not using someone I don't know what is. She didn't even have the decency to call me and tell me over the phone at least. and when I tried to call her, no answer of course. I just thought she was a better person than that. We were good friends before all this. I think what gets me the most is that I would NEVER do anything like that to her. I'm a good person and maybe just a little to gullible sometimes. I always want to see the best in people. Guess I should have seen this coming. I just never thought she would be this selfish and immature. I feel so used... !sad

on a dark note, i had some sort of epiphany (sp?) today!

i used to worry alot about money and my future, but today me and my nan were discussing it.

basically, ill be getting a fair bit more money than i thought when im 18 :) because i start getting my entitlement to DLA (disabled living aloowance) because of my bone problems and autism.

it equates to about 140 a month extra,then including my college money (EMA) it totals roughly 260 pounds a month.

and ill probably be doing an advanced business coutrse at college, so my financial / education problem seems a little less woprrying now! YAY!

Sorry to hear you didn't pass Dark. :/ Here are some tips that helped me pass: (they might come in handy!)
- Look in your mirrors often, or at least pretend to do so.
- Don't go over the speed limit! Even if everyone around you is doing 30 in a 25 zone, don't try to keep up.
- Make full, complete stops at stop signs. It's annoying as hell but just do it.

Yeah, basically those are all the mistakes I made: rolling stops, speeding, and not using my mirrors "often".

Today after school I went to the DMV to take the written permit test. Well, I was under a lot of stress and I barely passed with an 83%. ON MY FIRST TRY!

And, Dark, I probably won't do very well, either. When I'm stressed my muscles tense up and that's not good while driving....

i think i said before, but i passed the actual "theory" part of my driving test with|:

50/50 questions right
67/75 hazards spotted on hazard perception

and it was only a practice practical test that i "failed" yesterday, i wont take my actual one now maybe until the end of the year...

I haven't taken the actual driver test yet, but when I took the test to get a learner's, I missed the first three questions. You can miss four to pass. I kinda freaked out, but didn't miss any more after that. Thank goodness..

Shore Thing has been running since 2005 (or New year's day 2006) and has had Fatboy Slim, Basement Jaxx & Groove Armada in that order, and is held on the world famous Bondi Beach. runs from 9pm - 3am
Joining them are the Presets (amazing aussie dance act - anyone heard o them?) and Eric Prydz. On sale Oct 10 at itm!
