Random question but where are all the mods and admins? Lately the only ones I've actively seen are Piroteki and R0B0T. I've seen Spud too but he just stalks; doesn't usually post. Where'd Tomatorama, HUMAN, and boutboulman go?

Spud hasn't been an active member for ages. he just does stuff behind the scenes for the most part. can't really speak for tomatorama's or HUMAN's mysterious disappearances, but boutboulman is the same as usual, being that (like me) school work is plentiful, and he's trying to focus on that.

F**king GUH! I'm so irritated at my school right now. My Physics teacher is by far one of the biggest wastes of space on the face of this stupid chunk of dirt. She'll give you a detention if you sneeze the wrong kind of snot, and sometimes she won't even tell you that she issued a detention. Well this happened to me and by not showing up for said detention, I was assigned a SUPER detention on Wednesday. So I go to the detention on Wednesday and NO ONE WAS THERE. There was no detention what so ever! So I went to a friend's house. NOW They're accusing me of not going to Wednesday detention so now I have to go to Saturday detention. Isn't it THEIR fault I couldn't go to Wednesday detention? I feel like going just to step on their faces with a golf shoe then stapling the detention notice for Wednesday to their face so they won't be stupid again and blame me for their own stupidity. GRRR I feel like I'm going to explode.

Ive been feeling like crap lately. I always put on a happy face near friends and family, but all the other times i feel like crap. Havent been sleeping properly (actually took a sleeping pill yesterday, for someone who's 15 that shouldnt happen) and i have no motivation in doing anything.
I shouldve studied for a test im gonna have tomorrow, but i didnt, and i should be doing mixes i was asked to do, but everytime i have the thought of doing anything i just go "screw it, ill do it later" and never end up doing it.
Im also starting to get rude and behaving like an arse to my friends, but they always think its a joke, so they dont bother worrying.


Now why did that last sentence made me feel like i just want attention?

-take a shower and get dressed up like youre going somewhere nice (if you feel better physically, a lot of the times, you'll feel better mentally)

Well, the only advice I can think of (if you really want any from me) is to not doubt it. If you wake up tomorrow and say "Well, I guess today isn't going to be any better" then it definitely won't be. If you wake up and say, "Well, I really hope today will be better" then it just might be. If you try and convince yourself that tomorrow will be just a crappy as today, it's going to come true. So try and convince yourself that it will be a much better day. Have some hope.

omg so today was SO awesome.


i think i was just in a great mood initially cause of the double daft win last night, but this morning, i came into my first block and my school plays music every morning and this morning THEY PLAYED TECHNOLOGIC!!!!

not only was i spazzing about that, but i was sitting down at the time, and i sort of heard another voice on top of thomas's altered one, and i turned around and there was this girl sitting next to me... so i kind of leaned forward- "Wait... is she singing the words- OMG YES SHE IS!" and i asked her if she knew the words and she said she loved this song so we just started screaming the words out really loud in front of the entire class it was AMAZING.


the rest of the day was pretty good too. cause we didnt do a single thing in any of my classes so the day went by so quickly.

yeah it does, but you need to get on that pretty quickly...

i'm not sure if i'd be able to get it out (i'm a lot better when it comes to cleaning paint/ink/artsubstancehere), but generally i suggest that you start cleaning it with whatever's available as soon as you notice it. (even if this means going into a bathroom and just using handsoap.) until you can get home or somewhere with better cleaners. if it's white, just hit it up with some bleach. i'm pretty sure hydrogen peroxide is good to use when it comes to blood stains, too. or soak in cold water. wash it in the washing machine, but check it before you put it in the dryer, because if the stain is still there in the dryer, the heat's going to set it and it'll never come out.

It's gonna be a bit different than a usual Dj set, because I'll be doing it with a friend, but while he is mixing with a Pioneer mixer and choosing tracks, I 'll be using Ableton Live as well as a Kaoss Pad and an Akai XR-20 drum machine. Ableton and the Pad to take some samples and put some effects and loop samples, and the XR-20 to make new drum beats to mix into the music. It's gonna be somewhat more based in improvisation, kinda like Kraftwerk live.

ahh im so glad im done with that.

i was getting sealants on my teeth though once, and i had to keep my mouth open for a half an hour, and i have a general fear of my throat closing up, and of course she leans me all the way back so i feel like its going to close up, and i keep freaking out, trying to tell her, and shes just like 'breathe through your nose!'

well, lady, how can i do that if i had allergies then and i couldnt even smell anything!? so i basically panicked.

that wasnt as bad as the time where the lady made me hold a mirror up to my mouth and made me watch as she basically punched holes in my gums trying to get the plaque out. yeah... a lot of them bled. like 5 or 6 gums above my teeth...

When I first got the braces, they put me an extra w-shaped thingy in my palate because my molars were pretty ****ed up, nearly to the point of me becoming deaf (dunno why). That w-thing covered my whole palate, and blocked my tongue from getting to the back of my mouth. Because I tended to roll my tongue to the back when I ate, the first days with the braces were pure pain even when swallowing saliva because when I rolled my tongue back, I hit that W-shaped thing very hard. I felt like I was eating myself from the inside. But some days later I was like nothing had happened.
I never complained about braces being too tight, though.

My Japanese teacher just violated the Bill of Rights. I had my DS in my pocket and I was moving it to my backpack. Well a friend of mine saw it and just wanted to take a quick look at it. I happened to still have a game on from the morning and my teacher thought we were playing it. Without any warning or anything she just said "Give it to me." In a rage I said no, that it was my property and I had every right to keep it to myself. Being the stupid person that she is, obviously not knowing the Constitution, she figured she was above the law and demanded I give it to her. I asked her WHY and she just said "You know why." That's not a valid reason thus I shouldn't have had to give it to her. She threatened to write me up but I didn't care. Finally I just gave it to her so she'd shut up but she wrote up an item report anyway like it was damn firearm or something. Taking someone else's property without a valid reason violates the fourth amendment in the US constitution, and I swear if I don't get out of this class, someone's gonna get hurt. I want my DS back or she'll be seeing her husband soon. Happy Friday the 13th, Sensei. Watch me as I reenact the movie series in your class room.

anyway, if you ask me--which, i know, you're not--neither of you handled the situation very well... if you had explained the situation instead of getting all up in arms about your Constitutional rights, it probably would've been resolved a little better...

the implied reason for why she would be justified in confiscating things is that it's a distraction in class, and therefore detracting from others' right to learn. your right to keep your stuff is overrided because it's (theoretically, anyway) infringing on the other students' rights to education; and it's not like it was permanently taken or destroyed. granted, the incident wasn't an intended interruption, but apologizing and explaining that it wasn't actually being played probably would've helped your case.

your school's student handbook should have info on what sorts of items can and can't be confiscated in class, and how/when they are returned to students.

use your first Constitutional right to petition the principal about it or something.

It was funny reading about your Bill of RIghts cos we learned about the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms this year, and it's interesting to see the similarities. Lemme think...Section 8 of the Charter says, "Everyone has the right to be secure against unreasonable search or seizure..." so if you lived in Canada...I believe your teacher's choice would have been supported by that right, on the basis that she had actually seen the materials. lol speaking of food... my mom and i went out to lunch today, and the portions that we got were actually really good compared to most restaurants, but i was still full by the end of the meal. but then we decided to order dessert cause my mom was all 'but its a holiday! come on, whats valentines day without chocolate?' so we got a chocolate cake and a raspberry creme brulee with chocolate mousse.

and of course they bring out this dish with a huge slab of chocolate cake half the size of my head. O.o

so yeah. i barely ate anything the rest of the day cause i was so stuffed =P

Haha, we went out for lunch today too. Boston Pizza, I had the smoked ham and chicken stromboli. No dessert though.

Anyways, my parents went out to a soccer game that was at 6:45 (about 2 and a half hours ago, and indoor soccer matches only last about an hour or so). They're not back yet, so I cooked dinner a bit late cos I wasn't hungry for most of the afternoon, what with luch and all. So I cooked and ate dinner. Cleaned up. Made them some plates. No dessert, once again. And they're still not back. What gives? I have this fear that they'll come home and I'll say "Dinner's in the fridge" and they'll go "What is it?" and I'll say "That tortellini we picked up earlier today" and they'll say "That wasn't meant for tonite!" and then we'll have a big crapfuffle! Granted they never told me anything about when they'd be back / if I should cook them dinner or not / etc.

So there's my story.

P.S. Nevermind they just came home and were actually surprised that I cooked them dinner! I mean, what, they expected me to just wait for them to come home and make me something? Please!

Yeah, I mean he's a professional. But even some of the ones made by members of TDC who aren't professinal musicians have made some asolutely killer mixes. Dark DJ, Electromatic, DJ Deem, and *ahem* DJ Muziek. Heheh.

It is very very graphic. I was warned by my Film teacher that it was graphic and he said that he'd shown it before in lessons and students have walked out. But if you can stomach it, it's a very good film, and very well made. Being Film student I'm into slighty... different films lol.

Oh and Daft2008, It's a french film by Gasper Noé, Bangalter did all the music for it, which is one of the major reasons I wanted to see it, but I'm warning you if you don't like violence of any kind, don't watch it, if you're epileptic really don't watch it and if you're under 18, don't even think about it.

I think he's a fairly respected director in france, blockbuster should have it, do they have a forgein film section?

Don't say you wasn't warned though, there are one or two scenes that are quite difficult to watch, one of which I found difficult to watch and I'm fairly used to this kind of film.
He's also directing Enter the Void, which Bangalter is doing the music for. In case anyone wanted to know lol

I was looking for it a while ago in my local movie rental shop, and apparently its banned in australia, so that sorta gave me the hint that i wasnt supposed to be watching it :P

Ha yeh, it's been banned and unbanned a few time in various countires I think.

I mean it's fair enough if you can deal with it those sorts of graphic scenes, I mean, there is a very very long slight spoiler scene in there, which is understandabley hard to watch and I cna see why it's been banned in some countries.

Mostly sexual scenes, theres a scene in an underground gay club which is extermly graphic, there is voilence, but as far as I can remember only one scene where you see a lot of violence, and then the scene I mentioned in the earlier post, the filming and camera angles/shots have been known to make people feel sick and theres **** loads of strobing (dunno if that effeects you or not, but there ya go lol)

Um, it's also the whole storyline, it's a bit hard to digest at first, it's a completly backwards narrative, starting at the end and finishing at the begining, the story itself is a contriversal one... plus many other thing I can't rememrb off the top of my head. It's nothing like the americanised 'Gornos' like Saw, hostel, but it's more online with something like a clockwork orange.
I highly recommend it, i'm just saying I can understand why some people would be upset by it or un easy about watching it

Yeah, I can understand that, Stacey. I just watched a trailer on Youtube and it looked pretty mature. I think I could probably handle myself with the graphic scenes, not like I would freak out and poop myself or anything.

Great to see someone enjoys the same films I do, Evil. Granted, I haven't actually seen Clockwork Orange in it's entirety. But I love anything by Stanley Kubrick, Coen Brothers, Guillermo del Toro, or Tim Burton. 'Specially the Brothers and del Toro.
