Happy aniversary, Aria.

Im finally done with tests! Just one more week of school (along with anxiety to get the grades) and its summer time!

yeah, today would have been my last day of school, but spent all yesterday afternoon and evening with my friends, and finally crashed after 12:30, waking up at 10, so i wouldnt have been able to go to school anyway, since today was only a two-hour day (from 7:35 to 9:30). i cant believe i slept through my alarm, but apparently i did, so i couldnt have gone even if i wanted to.

so that means its summer break for me and 4 days until i go away!!!!

He had it locked up against a post and they cut though it with a bolt cutter.

I had the stupidest fall ever today. I was getting up from my chair on my course, when my feet got stuck in between the chair leg and the table leg. I lost my balance and fell, taking the chair with me.

Laughter obviously ensued afterwards.
omfg lol!
i once got trapped between a door, i was walking through a double door and it closed a little too fast and then it caught my right foot inbetween and i had to call my friend half-way down the corridor to open the door in fits of laughter, good times <3

Went to the beach (or at least tried to). It was bloody windy, even my backpack was going sideways, so me and my mates decided to go to the park.

Shame that one of my mates brother couldn't shut up for 2 bloody seconds and kept ****ing around, which completely ruined the afternoon.

Then there was maintenance works on the subway line so we had to go back to catch a bus to catch anoher subway to get back home.

Wooo.

Ahhh, I felt a bit let down today when, after a lot of hard work, I was able to be exempt from doing two weeks of final exams in my school, because I had some really good grades. The problem is that I worked so hard because I wanted to have some two extra weeks of vacations (which are particularly great because, since every other school are still doing finals, you basically can have the whole city for yourself for two weeks. After those two weeks, everything is crowded and the atmosphere is less relaxing). I like those two weeks because I can have a lot of fun with other friends who also are not doing exams, in a city which feels less busy in a lot of places because you can have it for yourself while everyone else is working. (Sounds a bit Schadenfreude-ish I know, but it isn't). Thing is, my school messed up big time at the beginning of the year when they set up the dates for final exams, so now, while everyone else started vacations this friday, I still have to go to school two more weeks BEFORE i get to those finals. The city is already packed and every place seems like very busy and rushed. It sucks. I can't have those two weeks for myself even though I somehow got them after all that work. Damn school of mine. :(

They payed Around the World. Totally freaked out when it came on, though there were only two other people who had the same reaction. Everyone else was like, "Oh this is cool and interesting KATY PERRY HOLY FREAKING!!!!"

And in a total change of tone, I'm sure a lot of people can relate to that, JPML. This time of year is always crazy for people what with exams happening and summer being so close. Best thing I've found is to just put your head down and work through it until it's over.

I recently became friends with this guy who's arm is tattooed (like the whole thing) as a robot arm. I'm serious. It's the coolest thing I've ever seen. I'll try to get a pic of it.

Also, I have a job interview tomorrow (albeit more boring) for a higher paying job then I have now. That way I can buy more useless dp stuff off ebay. And it's downtown wish is more awesome. Wish me luck!

Guess what. I failed my chemistry test 14.5/49. Disgusting. I studied and everything (least I tried to). I just don't get chemistry. *grumbles at myself :(
The teacher goes through things two quick and if I do sorta get what she's trying to teach it goes over my head. Then when I try to study at home I don't get it and I don't have any help as my parents don't understand chemistry either.

So... I'm in fiji and it's like 6 in the morning here cause we just got off the plane 2 hours ago. We're all exhausted- this was almost 20 hours worth of flying. It was even worse for me especially because I came down with a fever on the plane, couldn't stop coughing/ sneezing and didn't eat adecent meal for more than a day. I was extremely dehydrated and was starting to panic. Not fun. To top it all off, I only got 4 hours of sleep. Joy...

I miss you guys already.

Yesterday was fun. Went to the beach all day (got a nasty sunburn on my back and legs though) and at night i went to celebrate St. John's Day (the city's saint).
Had some sardines and then went to watch one of the most known bands here (GNR) until 2am.

Shame now i have a lot of pain on my back, due to the sunburn and muscular pain, but all is good.

and of course that i went to the saint john festival. But I didn't went to Casa da Música. After we saw the firework we went to see the pimba music concerte in Aliados Avenue - a must-do in a portuguese festival lol after we went to galeria de paris street where was funny 70's 80's disco music. of course without forgeting to hammer everyone! (it sounds bad but we don't kill anyone with hammers, it's plastic hamers)

I only saw GNR, but the sound quality was terrible. If you were standing at the back, one of the speakers had a delay, so when the drummer did a rim shot, it sounded like he was doing two.

I never actually went downtown during saint john's, because im not a big fan of confusion, but ill try next year.

I just woke up at around 9, went to the kitchen and then my mother told me I received 'the package', my AKG K518 LE (http://www.hardtofindrecordsrecordstore.com/htfrimages/BMR279467.jpg)...we talked about Michaek Jackson's death 1~2mins and then I turned on my computer to try it...

Starting with 'Da Funk' (my best track ever), I asked my mom if she wanted to try it, she agreed, I played 'Da Funk' and told me 'Oh, it's old, that !', I told her 'THIS is Daft Punk', she replied 'I know DP, they're not so young, they started a long time ago, I know this song as well'...'woho, I was kinda surprised, especially because she kinda liked =O

Sydney is for me the most beautiful city in the world. It has everything : big city, 4 millions people but it doesn't seem crowded, it's huge, lots of things to do, in a bay, an AWESOME bridge, an AWESOME opera house, the famous "Circular Quai"...

I've just come to the conclusion that I like the McLaren F1 a hell of a lot more than I like the Bugatti. And i'ts from 1993!! LOL

Also, forgot to mention I FINALLY had a go in a BMW z4 the other day... And I can tell you now that I really really want one now lol.
It's a little bit mental, I mean that ride isn't the most comfortable ride ever, but Its something you can live with to have that mad excelleration.

I like turtles :)

I had a pet Siamese Fighter Fish named Fergus once. He was a little spastic, he hated getting his water changed, took me 10 mins to get the stupid fish out of the bowl, he swims around the bowl like Speedy Gonzales. It's cool to watch him eat blood worms, he'd rip at them violently hahah.
He loved me when I gave him blood worms.
But he died :(
R.I.P Fergus.
(Yeah, fishies do have feelings you know and they have personalities.)

gahhhhhh. i have had such a long day today, been at school from 8am to 7pm really does suck, i've not stopped to sit down and relax since i got up this morning. the heat hasn't made it much better neither, i'm not bothered that it's orly hot, it's just that it's so humid.

running after little 10 year olds in a big school and then after old ladies who cannot find their way around school pisses me off no end. no wonder teachers have one of the highest suicide rates...

Just to warn you, TF2 is the commonly used abbreviation for the game Team Fortress 2.

Erm... ok?
There are a lot of abbrevations for a lot of things and every TF fan I know uses TF1 and TF2 for the live action films.

A little story :
The other day I was with my little cousin, she is 5 years old. She didn't know what to do, so I made her watch Interstella 5555. She told me that she had liked it and she cried a bit during it. What I didn't expect is that, te night came, she went to bed, and she had nightmares all the night, couldn't sleep, because she was afraid of the bad robots in Interstella, and scared of the old bad guy. My mother punished me for making her watching that film, because it was too "scary" for her.
Now I feel really angry because I haven't done anything wwrong ,really, who could guess that she was going to be scared?
I also feel guilty because I didn't want that to happen.
Tell me, because I don't know what to think, have I done right or wrong?

I think you musn't feel guilty at all, you couldn't know, just tell you, a toddler has to be scared of something, monsters, dogs, or...even robots lol it's not a problem, she'll be scared of robots in the future, where is the pb ? it's normal and will go away later, don't worry ;)

lol yeah I remember when my little cousin.. was about 6.. he watched "The Mummy", he loved it! Couldn't stop talking about it, but then when it came time to sleep..

He kept on having bad nightmares about it for weeks after..

No matter what, kids will always be scared of something.. if its not from a movie, its the boogie-man! haha

well, i remember that when i was young, my brother took me to bathroom, he didn't turn on lights and he started to scare me. i started to have problems with myself, i was afraid of everything. now, it might be strange but i'm still scared about darkness...

Isn't it rational for humans to fear the dark? I'd say most, if not, all humans are. It's the fear of the unknown. Plus, the dark stimulates human imagination, for example: you're attempting to sleep, you're scared of the dark, and creepy monsters and such are coming to "get you". Of course, it's all just baloney. :lol: And it would be irrational to be scared of something trivial, eg; pie. :)

Plus, the dark stimulates human imaginationReally? I never knew that. It makes sense, though. I guess that's one reason why if you're in school and the teacher tells you to close your eyes to picture/imagine something (silly example, I know).

I never really watched scary movies as a little kid. My parents (or my mom anyways) could be a little overprotective at times. The only thing I really watched was The Twilight Zone with my dad and, depending on the episode, it'd freak me out. Now when I watch it...not so much. :P

i don't know the answer to your question. i do know, however, that you're more likely to get a better answer asking in one of the music-making or equipment-discussing threads which are kind of spread out between Fan Remixes, The Lounge, and Other Bands. (i think they should, for the most part be in Fan Remixes, though.) try a search and see.

has anyone heard of The Bran Flakes (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bran_Flakes)? i'm listening to their I Have Hands album, and it's awesome! they sample all this 50's voice clips, and they've even used some obscure Japanese oldies song. not even half-way done with my first listen-through yet, but it's just a really fun album.

This morning, I got woken at 1am to hear a bunch of derolicts smashing the crap out of this house 4 doors up and brawling with people that were in it.
People like that REALLLY piss me off. Why do they have to be so feral? They choose to be. They have heaps of opportunites infront of them, they would be able to get a job dead easy if they actually finished their education.
They think it's okay to bludge and live on the dole spending their money on drugs and alcohol. It's not okay, it's a crap way to live. They just don't care. A lady just moved into a house next door to the house that got smashed, she had only been in there 2 DAYS and her car windows got totalled. I find it absolutely disgusting. They really anger me. (Rant rant rant and stop)

Man Saturday kicked ASS!!
Me and some chums went to Gay Pride London and danced around trafalgar square for three hours lol. We wore all these bright colours and had MASSIVE gay pride flags, was awesome. We saw the singer from M People, she was wicked, she sounds exactly the same live as she does in CD. Then I came home and watched Young young and Frankie Boyle all night.

Also, me and my brother almost got attacked my zombies, I swear to god, they were in our front garden.
