Okay. So this morning I was watching 'TechTV', it's a TV show here in the Philippines about technologic gadgets and stuff. Their background music sucked, so I muted my TV and turned my iPod on.

I listened to 'One More Time' in full volume and began to bop my head while watching TV. Then my brother walked into the living room and took the remote control. I turned my iPod off. He un-muted the TV, and guess what?

The song that TechTV was playing... None other than 'One More Time'. Coincidence much?

I had the biggest smile ever. It was MARVELOUS. It was a great start to my day.

I'm giving him to one of my good friends who was looking for a nice tom like Sebastian. She already has one tom but was looking for another and Sebastian is getting too big to keep in my backyard. and I wouldn't dare to bring him over to live in my chicken coop at my neighbors house because it's not a safe enough place for him. and he'll be happy at his new home where he can play with all the other turkeys, chickens, peacocks, etc. ^____^

Okay, so my sister is driving me to work; I'm listening to Homework on my MP3 player, and she's listening to her morning radio show. Well they were doing a count down of sorts stating positive or negative things celebrities have done recently; and they mentioned Kanye West. I turn my music down really low and she turns the radio up, we're both expecting some epic lulz. Seems Kanye decided to do a concert, AND AT 2:30 AM. Not only that, but it was pouring. Then he doesn't come out on stage until 4 AM. The audience now, is SUPER tired, cranky, booing, and is just plain pissed off. Kanye doesn't bother apologizing or explaining himself at all. My sis and I had a nice laugh at that. It got us in a better mood for the day.

well, turns out that my neighbor put 3 fake eggs in my coop so that my hen could sit on them and be satisfied but we wouldn't have to worry about hatching more chicks......but my mother and sister didn't know that......
they brought the 3 eggs home because they thought they were real and gave one to my neighbors dog(we usually always give him an egg), gave another one to a friend along with 11 other eggs, and finally realized they were real after my sister broke the last one on the ground

the paradox i was talking about and the idea of mutation aren&#039;t mutually exclusive.

because evolution is not &quot;mutation&quot; in that, one individual chickenesque dinosaur randomly had an egg that hatched into an actual chicken; that&#039;s mutation, but it&#039;s not evolution. evolution isn&#039;t based on change within individuals, it&#039;s the change in genetics of a population over many, many, many, many, many years. (the fact that evolution takes so long is why it&#039;s so hard to directly observe, except in the case of microbiotic life--because of their high reproduction/genetic recombination rates--and even then, it still takes a looooong number of years.)

so basically it would be more like a group of chickenesque dinosaurs gradually, over time have offspring with increasingly chicken chicken-like features because they help them survive better. let&#039;s say that all of the more chickenesquedinosaur-like offspring are succeptible to some disease or there&#039;s something else (like a natural event) that makes the more dinosaurlike creatures more likely to die, which means the survivors would be the more chickenchicken-like offspring. this process would continue where the helpful features (that show up via mutation/recombination) are encouraged and other features are weeded out gradually due to the surroundings. the chickenchicken-like creatures would overtime continue having offspring that get closer and closer to being real chickens, until you get to actually get to it.

i&#039;m not an expert on evolutionary theory or anything, and it&#039;s been a while since i&#039;ve studied it (so if i made a mistake, someone can correct me or whatever), but i don&#039;t think a lot of people really understand what it&#039;s about. i know i didn&#039;t until three years or so ago, and it was just kind of like &quot;woahhhh.&quot;

anyway, the thing i&#039;m talking about with the tadpole paradox proposes that you take a picture of a tadpole every day as it matures into being a frog. the thing is you would think there should be one day where it is a tadpole and then the next day it&#039;s a frog. but it&#039;s pretty much impossible to pinpoint the moment in time when a tadpole ceases to be a tadpole and is therefore a frog.

this is the same case with evolution, because it&#039;s really, really hard to tell when, for instance a population of chickenesque dinosaurs cease being chickenesque dinosaurs and are what we would call a chicken. so... it&#039;s kind of impossible to tell at which point which came first...

yeah i just watched the dvd too (yay finally got it to work!) and i realized that how many ever times ive listened to alive 2007, ive NEVER gotten tired of it. like, it gives me goosebumps/gets me super excited/makes me dance every single time. god i love daft punk.

Yea this DVD means a lot to me. I wasn&#039;t able to actually see Alive 2007 !sad So this is all I have. I just can&#039;t wait to see futureproofs. Sounds like its gonna be great!!
