Yeh we do, it's awesome. Halloween has always been a huge part of our family each year, when we were young we'd throw huge parties and everyone would dress up. My mum would make everyone totally kick ass costumes. I was a spider one year, and my bro was a dinosaur! Then my mum became a Wiccan and now it's even bigger, in a different sense. We don't do the parties anymore, it's more of a family thing. It's pretty much what Christmas is to Christians (though we still celebrate Christmas) Though I'm not Wiccan, so I'll usually go to a party and then come home and spend the rest of the evening/next day with my family while they celebrate their holiday.

I know that feel bro. I have to stay 10+ hours at school almost everyday. It just feel like I finish something for a class, then something else comes up for another class. Not to mention I have to deal with so many numbers, my mind literally aches after class. Physics and Calculus are really taking their toll on me. Programming is well, kinda easy, but looking at a screen for so long really starts to hurt. However, it's going to be worth it man. I'd rather struggle for 4-6 years, than work like a dog for the rest of my life. Hory shet! This post is long lol.

I'm fine everyone and so is Japan. The typhoon made landfall in my prefecture so I'm pretty sure we got the worst of it, and it wasnt that bad. There was some damage though, and maybe some landslides? I'm not sure. When it got to fukushima last night though there was a 5.3 quake at the same time. Crazy! I felt a bit of it here, but it was so slight i doubt most people noticed.

Lol I think everyone is biased towards their major or area of study. However, it's not necessarily the material that makes me stress out, it the professors. I have awful professors this year, and when it comes to calculus or physics, if you miss one piece of info. the rest of the lesson is extremely confusing. But then again, I may be "overachieving", I mean, I strive for nothing but A's. So I guess I may just need to relax a little and be comfortable getting a B or C once in a while.

With regards to Hallowe'en, I like the idea of dressing up and going to a party for the craic etc, but oh my god Hallowe'en is so over-commercialised here that it pisses me off and makes me abhor the occasion. The bitch about it though is that I applied for a grant (basically an amount of money given to you so you can pay for **** like college, and I think it's a lot) last July and they keep asking for info they already have and it really irks me because to use some of the facilities (library mostly) you need a student ID card and you don't get that till you pay your fees.

In French Culture we learned about the importance of l'hexagone and trees to the French. Le sigh.

idk about immoral, but it's definitely illegal. chances are you probably won't get caught, but it could get messy if you do... the reason google uses 18 is because that's the age you can legally enter an agreement with them, since you're entering a legal agreement with them by using the services they provide(g+).

it has nothing to do with censorship or swearing, and all to do with legality, since you are in some sense or another dispersing personal information about yourself through their services. it gets complicated when it comes to copyright and privacy issues, so they want to make sure you're old enough to have a good understanding of what you're doing and agreeing to--it probably also has to do with liabilities on their part; if you get ****ed over because you shared or said something on g+ (like got fired from a job or something?), they're don't want to be held responsible for it.

when you signed up you had to say you agree to their terms, so you're breaking the rules by lying. it's not the most admirable thing, but it happens all the time, so... i guess there's not too much to be said.

Anyways, what I was trying to get across is that most people think that rules don't apply to them. Most people think they are an exception to whatever situation they are in.
