My VDay consisted of going to DHS to apply for medicaid , taking my son to the doctor, laundry and sleeping. My husband works 3rd shift so he was asleep most of the day.... Course we've never really celebrated valentines day.. so...*shrug*

Clearly we aren't trying hard enough. If I sound like I'm "offending" you, it's because your behaviour when you first joined this site and your continued behaviour by asking mods to close threads which you think aren't important and opening of new threads like which of the site's emoticons are better or whatever is just not on. You either need to read the forum rules and become acquainted with them, learn to think before you post irrelevant material to any thread, or just sod off in general. My impression of you is that of an underage child who lacks higher cognitive function and processing power and it will remain so until you become subject to change and grow up.

Whatever, this is actually a really reall good sign that things are advancing. I could imagine they will be starting the real production of number 4 right this week.

Of course it could be the case, too. But i think since the whole Neil meet and dance thing is pretty fresh and new (and because of the fact they played some unmastered new material) i don't think the album will be finished before the end of march. On the other side things are starting to get more and more precise, so there might be only 1-2 tracks still in the last steps of production and then they will start mastering the album. But those are only guesses.

But yeah, my parents know I drink and they're cool with it. I just choose not to drink around them because I know they don't like it. Both of my dad and mom's dads were alcoholics and had to deal with a lot of that stuff when they were growing up.

I hardly drink anyways, though. Only on special occasions or just to get a good buzz going before I go to the club or a rave.

Hey guys, d'you know what's awesome? Talking about French films with your tutor. D'you know what else is awesome? Talking to her about Electroma, Irrevérsible, and Daft Punk in front of about four other people instead of translating a text. Epic funtiems.

Today was awful. D: I was playing some intense rugball in the rain and I was soaking wet and cold. While I was changing in the locker room, I forgot my binder, and after running back and forth between the school, NO one turned it in. I'm tired, wet, cold, sad, and I have 12 assignments due tomorrow and I have to start from scratch. Errgghhh.

Besides that, how is everyone? Spring is here and the weather is really turning around! :D

Yeah, I've had a pretty bad run as well.

I was doing a Bachelor of Aviation but was unable to cope with the stress of flying, so I had no choice but to stop doing it for the moment and probably give up my dream. Which was heartbreaking. To make things worse, during the last year of flight training, I had been incurring the fees on a government fee help debt which, I won't go into too much detail but it is in the 10's of thousands of dollars. I was living on Uni Lodge accommodation and since I was no longer attending the uni I was unable to live there anymore, and I had to move out. Unfortunately I didn't have a place to move out to so I am basically homeless and sleeping at a friends place until I find a place, living out of the boot of my car. I moved to a new state to do that course so I am about 2,000km away from anyone I knew before. My Dad was paying for my accommodation while I was doing the course but he doesn't really want to help out anymore now that I have dropped the course and I think he is going to cut me off soon. He is pretty sick as well, and his health has declined pretty drastically over the last few days. I am not sure if he is going to make it through this one. All of this has thrown me into a deep trench of depression which has not been fun for the last 3/4 months, but I am slowly pulling myself out of it with some help from my friends I have made down here. But it has made it really hard to get anything done for myself and not having an address has made it pretty much impossible to get a job at the moment, which is alright since I propbably wouldn't be able to handel it right now. But ti doesn't help with my money situation not having any income and just relying on the generosity of others at the moment. I can tell you, it doesn't feel good accepting all this help from people. I feel awful.
So at the moment I am staying with a friend until I find a place to stay for myself, at which time I will have an address that I can give to the government, and hopefully receive some payments to help get me back on my feet.

But at the moment I just listening to some Daft Punk and trying to relax. I just think that there are people worse off than me at the moment and how lucky I am to just have a place to sleep and food to eat.

But really. Not a bad rep sheet for 19 years old :P

hey guise! I noticed that our Alive 2007 DVD is still up on torrents and it's still downloadable if you want it!

for noobs who don't know what is it - it's a DVD compiled by me from the material provided by Matt.B, who was supposed to make the DVD by himself, by EMI complained and he just released it as a flash video on his website. I downloaded it, made a DVD out of it for all you guys.

it's a full Bercy concert, the one that was released as Alive 2007 - video is compiled from stuff provided by many guys who attended the concert, and the audio is a direct rip from Alive 2007 CD.

it's kinda cool, but it disappeared and it was a very rare gem - but now there are seeders and it's available for download!

Nilla Wafers for the ears; I used the mini ones. Red and white candy melts, red velvet cake mix (Or any cake mix) a jar of frosting and sticks. :D
It gets rather tedious because the weight of the ears can pull it off the stick while dipping.

Compared to other fanbases, most people who are into Daft Punk or EDM are pretty easygoing. The only downside to tumblr is it seems saturated with slashfic/pics, and some of them are really graphic. While I do think that slash is amusing to a point, I'm just not that into it, especially when it turns hardcore. But, I'd rather that people be free to post what they want; I just scroll past it or unfollow if it gets too annoying.

I have to say I haven't had the same experience with tumblr regarding slashfics and such...I guess it really depends who you follow.

For the most part, my experience with tumblr (aside from dealing with technical difficulties) has been positive. I haven't really run into any blogs that I found overly opinionated or unpleasant. Compared to other fanbases, most people who are into Daft Punk or EDM are pretty easygoing. The only downside to tumblr is it seems saturated with slashfic/pics, and some of them are really graphic. While I do think that slash is amusing to a point, I'm just not that into it, especially when it turns hardcore. But, I'd rather that people be free to post what they want; I just scroll past it or unfollow if it gets too annoying.

Reality check: Mass Effect's a game, not a movie. It might seem different, but in fairness, it is a game that promotes the concept of actions and consequences. Fans are more disappointed with the lack of choices in the end and how it was a bit "deus ex machina" and the 3 endings were limited and provided very little closure for your friends and loved ones. Fans are also questioning why Joker was mid-transit between relays, how the origin of that Garden of Eden-esque planet came about and how in the name of God your squad got back to the Normandy when in all likelihood, they were murdered by Harbinger.

I could go on, but I think I made my point.
