Why is it that no one ever posts in Electromatic's artist thread (http://www.thedaftclub.com/forum/showthread.php/9172-Sebon-Electromatic-etc.) anymore? There was a time when everybody seemed genuinely interested in what he was doing, but now it seems like it's just him posting updates and me replying like a stalker. It's not like his music's suddenly taken a dive in quality or something, if anything it's gotten better.

Don't know... he says she gets into worse territory, but from what's depicted I don't so much see a criticism of music as a criticism of his lifestyle, which she feels is counterproductive. Whether or not it is... it's not really fair to analyze knowing so little about their relationship. There's obviously something a lot more complex going on there than someone "not getting" music.

This was posted exactly a week ago, I would've posted this if I had internet where I was staying. I just want to say a big thank you to everyone here because you guys are one of the reasons that I wouldn't have been in where I was standing in that photo, in one of the most cultured places in the world. It was an amazing experience and even though I didn't get to do exactly everything I wanted to do while I was there, I still had great time with everything else that I did. I'm sorry I haven't been here for a while and I will get back here very soon because I miss this place this place way too much. Many thanks ;)

Finally made it back to Melbourne. Never leaving here again. Visiting my dad on the Sunshine Coast was boring as all hell, except for going to Dreamworld yesterday. The place was empty so there were NO LINES! It was the greatest. I love Dreamworld.

There are two possible reasons for that that philosophical scholars have battled with each other on for decades...

Possibility 1) I am a "Hair God" that is capable of changing my hair colour and style with a simple thought. As a God I am fantastic at every endeavour I embark on and am supurbe at any physical or mental activity I wish to try, hence my life is perfect.

or...

Possibility 2) The picture of me skiing was taken a couple of years ago before I dyed my hair for an Alice Cooper concert, and I was at Dreamworld on the Giant Drop only a few days ago.

I'm half Finnish, I really don't seem to feel the cold very much at all. My poor friend I was was with did though. We crashed into each other while going quite fast down a run and he fell over onto the snow/ice which you can imagine would hurt A LOT on bare skin. I didn't fall since, as I have said earlier in this post, I may be some kind of "Hair God" and therefore are incapable of not being perfect at everything I do.

Very good eye. Yes, the picture was taken at the top of the International Chair Lift, you can see the bunny runs there. We skied around for 1:30 - 2:00 hours or so mainly down "Wombat's Ramble" and Main Street" as they both had quick chairlifts.

Well in that case it was a very lucky guess. When I went to Falls Creek I was living on the Sunshine Coast at the time. I only moved here at the beginning of 2011 for uni. This picture could also have been taken in Finland when I was there last, but alas the video of me running out of the sauna and rolling around in the snow naked (yes naked, no underwear) was too dark to see...maybe that is luck for you guys.

I think I'm in 12th year (in american school years). Final year of the hardest high school education, is that 12th year? can't wait till I'm done with this **** so I can start the KLM flight academy and start flying for an airline.

I ****ed up the test on Keynes btw :P Was really tough, all the energy drink was a bad idea..

I duuuuunno, we have some here and nobody but me and my Dad know what to do on them. People are like "Oh look a circle, let's turn left in the opposite direction and try to cause as many head on collisions as possible." So the place is kind of unintentionally dangerous cause people have no idea what to do. lol

the best thing that i realized about streets was when boutboulman came to visit a few years ago and i was giving him a tour of the city. he suddenly looked up and yelled 'DON'T BLOCK THE BOX!' in his awesome british accent. i wtf-ed until he pointed out this sign next to an intersection that said that and it was only after he pointed it out that i noticed it on literally EVERY intersection in the entire city.

My friend lives in Lancaster and his whole neighborhood was ****ed up. Blackouts, trees and overturned cars in the middle of the streets.

Poor dude lost pretty much everything so him and his family are living with us for a while.

They said there were actually 13 tornadoes that touched down that day. :-/

The Lion King, eh, you're probably not missing much. I thought it was awesome when I was a kid, but now, not so much. The animation is gorgeous and the music is still great, but the story is weak (basically a watered-down version of Hamlet.) Toy Story is really good though: the writing is clever and it is actually funny as opposed to trying to be funny :D

Don't feel bad about not seeing Star Wars - I knew someone my age who had never seen Forrest Gump. That really didn't seem possible.

Well, any time I've talked to the mods or admin on here with a question or request, they were really helpful. And the way they moderate things around here seems fair to me. If you want an example of some real Nazi moderating, the very first forum I ever started posting on I was BANNED for doing nothing more than posting off-topic a couple of times. No warning or anything, I just couldn't log on one day. And when I emailed the mods, they wouldn't even give me a second chance. Comparitively, I think we've got it we've got it pretty good here.

I have barely ever seen anyone be anti mod on this site because everyone seems to get along so well. But when someone does say something anti mod, it is generally for something stupid. I have never had ANYTHING of mine edited as far as I am aware. The most I have ever had done is had a thread of mine closed when I couldn't find the thread that already existed. They just helped me out and told me to discuss it there.

if we were to edit a members post. we'd say "MOD EDIT:" and wouldn't do it on the quiet.

Well my sex ed as a kid was normal enough for Australia, but in High School, like in year 11 and 12, they had a whole bunch of sex ed that involved Jesus and how we shouldn't have sex before marriage and what God thought about condoms. All that Bull****. Since I was at the snooty rich private school, where most of the students were rich and spoilt and not caring about education, by grade 11 and 12 it was too late to be trying to save them from the 'evils' of sex.

@Fundave, John: I did, meant to respon to that. Iirc, Avicii changed the time he was meant to perform at Coachella so that he wouldn't clash with Snoop and Dr Dre, and as a result, everyone else's set times were changed. Funkagenda and Feed Me lay into him about it.
