I know OF BitTorrents, but never really used them. And now that several torrent bootlegs are avaliable I would like to know 2 things.
1. Where are ALL the torrents posted on this site (forum sites) (such as Coachella - apparently that's awesome and I can't find it)
2. HOW DO you WORK BitTorrent after downloading the software.

In this technological age, and me being a computer feak-ish, HOW can I not know how to work torrents, as the 2007 Sydney show will be a massive torrent too:D

thanks!
spurway.

lifehacker to the rescue!

A beginner's guide to BitTorrent
"This is the guide you can send to your friend next time he gets that glassy look in his eyes when you mention BitTorrent and how quick and easy it makes downloading albums educational, public domain videos and other large files."

Erm... that Vegoose torrent is not working. Something about 'no peers to connect to' and its 'checking for firewalls'
I use a Mac PS
HELP! hah

I use mac too.
The best mac torrent program is TRANSMISSION (doesnt make your mac all slow n stuff like BITTORRENT).
Download that.
(assuming you did that).
If it says no peers, maybe no ones seeding.

And this is the Vegoose one you want...

When you download the file, what type of file is it and how do you play it?

How do you play the .flac files? errrkkk this is getting odd:D

you'll need to convert those .flac files to .wav files... and then if you want the .wav files to mp3s. I found this site and followed the instructions on there. I have Windows, but this is the OS X site.

It might be really tedious and somewhat time consuming if you have no clue how to change settings/preferences on programs. Give it a try.

yeah, but i don't like VLC so much for a main player. i use it to play weird formats and transcode and stuff, but that's about it...
