As some of you know, I'm a fan of 80's music, it reminds me of my childhood, makes me nostalgic, and basically is something I really enjoy.

I have a couple of Daft Punk tracks mashed-up with famous songs from the 1980's, so I thought I'd share them with you guys.

Daft Punk VS Cyndi Lauper - Girls just Wanna One More Time

Cyndi Lauper's "Girls just Wanna Have Fun" mashed-up with One More Time, very upbeat, especially the bits where the two main riffs are played over each other with that funky bassline, great overall.

Daft Punk VS Madonna - Da Prayer

Madonna's "Like a Prayer" mashed up with Da Funk, it starts out good, and from 2:44 onwards, it's great.

And as a suggestion, for the sake of keeping the forums organized, I suggest we specialize this thread for any Daft Punk mash-ups with songs from the 80's, enjoy!

Daft Punk VS Cyndi Lauper - Girls just Wanna One More Time .... is so enjoyable i love 80's music, my dad listen to it all the time so i growed up listening to michael jackson, erasure, sandra, madonna, milli vanilli, etc, the first its my fav, will be in my mobile all the time :)

Nice to see other fans of 80's music, it truly is one of the best decades music-wise, glad you guys liked the mash-ups. :)

No problem with the 80's here, but the Lauper-One More Time mix just didn't do it for me. Don't let that stop you though, it's just my opinion.

other songs on this topic are pretty sweet...
