LOL that's just a PREVIEW image. Click the "download AI" link on the page - you get a vector graphic in Adobe Illustrator format that you can scale to be 1 inch high or 200 miles high without losing detail because it's a vector graphic

hey I haven't listened to it yet but if you're dealing with too much crowd noise in Short Circuit / Face to Face ... have you looked at the Mexico City show? audio quality isn't that bad and apparently there were hardly any people there.

also, PLEASE make sure to put track numbers at the beginning of the file names. it makes it much more easy to listen to the tracks in the right order.

and where's the encore? I suggest you split this into two or more 7z archives, each at least less than 100 mb

Everything from "Let There Be Light" and the end of "Waters of Nazareth" is rediculously easy to replicate if you have the right song, samples, acapellas, and stuff like that. I got it down to a science almost, except the transition between Just On Fix and Waters of the Nazareth

I would like to give some advice well things I've noticed. On steam machine towards the end the acapella you used for steam machine goes a bit off beat by like a split second and is a tad bit too loud. Nothing big but I'm sure it shouldn't be too hard to adjust. Your Da Funk remake is spot on and so is your Robot Rock.

All in all awesome job, sadly I'm a bit late to the party :(, I've noticed many others were involved from this forum so I'd like to say good job to them also. This stuffs really good can't wait for final,

Honestly I was a little sad with how Da Funk was done in the re-make. Da Funk/Daftendirekt is one of my favorite tracks on ALIVE 2007, and the beats that went with Daftendirekt weren't really something I wanted to Dance to as opposed to the way Daft Punk played them in their performance. But glad you're remaking it :happy:

I haven't taken the time to read through the dozens of pages in this thread, so I apologize if you're re-answering common questions.

First off, I think it's awesome that you're doing this project. Anything Daft Punk related has alot of hype out of the gate and I'm glad that it isn't just hype here. This brings me to my questions.
1. Did you have to go through Daft Punk's record company to buy any rights to these songs?

2. If I'm reading correctly, you are going to release it soon. Are you selling copies online, or is it strictly a download deal?

About question 1, I think it would be cool if Thomas and Guy-man knew about this... The Alive shows were epic and I consider the Alive 2007 CD to be one of their best CD's.

Beta verison. If you notice there are several flaws. ATW/HBFS is too long and Burnin'/Too Long has around 40 seconds of silence in the begining. And they arn't that high in quality. Also there is no brainwasher acapella in Aerodynamic Beats/Forget About the World. Alive is now working on improving the minor flaws.

Here is a rough timeline:
-The project is started.
-Alive kind of disappears from the forum.
-He reappears (almost a year later) and says that the project is no longer in his hands. A person called "daguru" is now in charge of working on the new sounds... so if I understand correctly, the project is started anew.
-Then Alive and daguru both disappear, leaving us in the dark.

I personally believe that Alive 2007 was amazing. And the show they chose to have released as an album was by far the greatest of their whole tour. I can't be held accountable for getting excited when I see that someone is remastering it and removing all those yelling people.

Did anyone disown him for saying the file was close to finished, then removing it altogether? No. We are looking forward to it. the released (and two unfinished) tracks are on yotube already so just wait for the rest. It might take a little while, probably until the end of the year because the whole remake will be remastered and put up in high quality for download and that takes its time unfortunatly

One More Time / Aerodynamic ~90% done (only the synth is tricky)

I'm still in the process and i think that ill be able to make process in the next month BUT (big problem) my ears are pretty much ****ed up since about 9 months. So because of that and in the focus of the health of my ears i cant make huge jumps because i simply cannot hear music for too long. It is just not possible. I'd really really like to finish this but i can't predict what will be in the future and how everything is gonna turn out. So please understand that. Regardless of that i have made actually a huge leap in recreating two tracks...The first, Aerodynamic Beats / FATW and the second one Face To Face / Short Circuit (yes i do have an acapella)

Anyways, i hope that's explanation enough for now :)

Okay boys and girls...

I'm not dead and neither is the project of recreating Alive 07

I just thought i give you a little upadte on the progress.

So i bought this one last week

and because of that beast im making huge progress. I got the exact same sound of the Around The World Live riff at least for one layer (The sliding layer is the next thing on my to do list) So with this thing i also did the 100% recreation of the areobeats riff (again the second layer is also a thing on the to do list) and after that i will focus on reworking the aura rock synth.

So the synths are basically the most difficult part in the whole concert. The structure of the track itself isnt a big deal. So after getting the synthesizer sounds the project should be done in a couple of monthts (including mastering and all that stuff)

Ok that's a little update on the project, so i hope you all aren't mad at me for not giving updates and releasing the album lol.

P.S. The Album will probably be called "Alive 2007 in Studio" but that's a working title aswell.

I made the synth with a real moog voyager which cost me about 3200$ but it was worth it, i love the sound of it.

I'll also redo Around The World / HBFS because i got the real sound now. No emulations, no plugins, no software but real analoge snyht power. It will be great, i might publish a new version soon.

Made that picture really quick with GIMP2.0 because i needed some picture to present my stuff but ill upload it for you. I can upload a version with the dp logo and the picture only but also a version with just daft punk in the corner if you want.

I remember hearing demos for most of all of the songs in this thread or one very very similar (and I'm way too lazy to look through 75 pages), and now we're back down to like half from what I'm understanding?

from what i understand, the project was started by the person who started the thread, and finished, but now burnerman is redoing it himself with his moog so we can get a better quality version :) there is also a bunch of us that are making our own versions of tracks, so the whole threads just a mess now, once burnerman is done we'll probably get everything straightened out.

i hope that helps explain whats goin on.
