An Error With The Member Count?

Ok guys, here's something interesting I noticed today, look at the "Newest Member" section on the "Online Info" bar to the right (on the homepage), it's daftstephen, 888 members (so he is member #888), right? Well now look at this thread and see his member number on there, #894, what gives? Is it an error (though not really a big deal) or were 6 members deleted or something?

Didn't notice that discussion before, but it's more like making people aware of the problem this time around, so I guess it's worth mentioning in a thread on its own.

Haha it's really not that interesting (especially not as great as that other thread suggests sadly!)

Basically the online bar on the home page etc counts how many registered members there are. The one is peoples profiles and by the side of their posts displays their unique member ID.

When members are deleted (either after I have finished with a test account, or when I delete someone for spamming) the registered member count goes down (on the home page), but the unique id/record is kept (just not displayed.

Does that make sense?
