� is "ha" in words and stuff, but when you use it as a particle (yeah, the "wa" at the end of konnichiwa is actually a particle) it changes to "wa" i have no idea why. and no one i know seems to know either.

maybe the completely different character you're thinking of is � ("wa")?

my friend writes "�ん���" a lot, and she said it's because people just get lazy and write it as � instead of �. i guess a "u" for "you" sort of thing... but definitely not correct grammatically speaking. XD

either way, �ん��を "konnichiwo" is totally weird/wrong. i have no idea if it's even possible to make a sentence where you could use "wo" with "kyou" (kyou is another way to say the "konnnichi" part of "konnichiwa")...

I hardly ever know when to put a wa or a ha :B

"wo" however, is a totally different story. i don't even remember what kind of particle it's called, but i know how to use it for the most part!

o.O I was taught ha was a completely different character but that sometimes it sounds like wa...even the ABC songs we listened to said HA XD (yes we listened to alphabet songs......it felt like Kindergarten all over again only this time I DIDN'T already know the alphabet prior to joining the class.)
