Ok. There's only going to be 3. I'm going to miss making these. I would like to make the cover for Vol. 3. I want it to have 2 discs and A LOT of artwork. So everyone, when Vol. 2 is completed, I'll make a thread for ONLY songs and another one for everything else. Anyone who can make artrwork, please make a cover for RAA Vol. 3 or just Daft Punk. I would like to have a booklet of all the artwork, and anyone who is good at writing, can you make a big discription for this. 2 is going to be good, 3 might be a little better. Who knows? What do you guys think of all of this?

i also think it would probably help if you only took remixes that were totally finished, it seems to me that you were taking a lot of penciled in stuff during the planning process. like people would post saying "i want to remix x song(s)!" but never got done with it or only posted half-finished versions. obviously you shouldn't wait on stuff like that and just use the best finished remixes from what you get.

also, i know this is a big project, but i think it would be quite helpful for all of us trying to keep the forums looking nice if you tried to keep threads related to this project to a minimum. i was recently cleaning up this forum, and there were like somewhere around five different threads related to RAA. if you could try to keep it to one thread per release/volume, that would be great.

I have an Alive / Human After All mix, a Da Funk / Brainwasher mix, a Da Funk / On/Off mix, they're not "intros" but i think they could fit well as a first track, at least Alive After All and Da Funk/On/Off could.

So if you can't get students, I've got a few back ups if you want to check em out.
Da Funk Channel - A TV channel that brings you your Daily Funk.
Da Brainwasher -(likely to appear on Nerd42's next project)
Alive After All - My personal favorite.

None of them are "heavily" remixed. Only to the extent you might hear on an Alive album. I like to keep the songs' integrity.

Nevermind, I found your post. Nice mixes, I see you and I have the same remixing style of just using the sounds from the songs themselves and not adding any new stuff in it (i.e. custom beats or melodies).

I like really Alive After All, but I'm not the one who runs the tracklist. I'm not sure if any of them would work as an intro. An intro would just be something short and quick. Nice work though, I can see those being on RAA3.

And I think remixing shouldn't too overdone. Eventually, you go past remixing, to the point where your just sampling.

Make it Violet? Adobe Premiere lets you change the Hue/Saturation of a video....so I just did that to the Technologic intro.

Actually (if you don't mind my personal opinion), if we can't find Statech's mix I would suggest we replace it with DJ Alive's Technologic Mix. I was just listening to it and it is superb! Not sure why we didn't put it on in the first place.

Ok. So I changed my Verdis Quo mix to Too Long & 10 Others and Short Circuit Remix to Da Funk (Funk Head Mix) because those were in ReDiscovery and I don't want to have it on 2 remix albums. I seperated my mixes a little bit becuase they were like right next to each other and I don't think that's fair for some reason. I'm also not sure about having Pixcell's Arodynamic Edit because it was already on a remix album (ReDiscovery) and he said that he made a better mix than that one. I would rather have that one than whatever it is. I also changed Dark DJ's 15 becuase I think his recent Technologic mix should be on here. It's a really good mix. I hope he would let me use these 2 instead.

The first tracklist is the original one that BEASM had. The second one is almost the same thing with a little changes in the order and the mixes that I changed of mine and Dark DJ's.

I don't think Funk Head should be included either. It's not Da Funk, it's Buckethead. The Da Funk melody doesn't exsist anymore, so it's basically just being used as an instrument.

Well we still have that bio page (since people want to do it again) and Pixcell to finish the artwork and me putting all of this on archive.org.

Another thing. I'll try to get this release done as soon as possible because I'm going to be in Michigan from Tomorrow-Saturday, probably going to go up to see Sara on Thursday and then I got drumline camp at night the next week and got band camp the following week which is all day. I'll try to see if I can use my dad's laptop next week.

I haven't been looking for DJ Tonic's mix cos I've been asleep but I'll look around some more. if we can't find it. We might have to use Statech's (which I actually found).
