I had an idea.
Every now and then, releasing EPs jsut titled 'The Daft Club Records EP' followed by a number. These Eps can be made up of whatever random material we make, but don't have projects to fit into. Like right now, i have several songs that won't fit into any of my projects, and I bet some other people may run into the same deal eventually.

Lime is essentially... well, Lime. It's an experiment in sampling for house music production, and filtering. Sadly, I don't yet have the capability to make it professional quality due to the lack of ability to sidechain, but i suppose I'll live... anyway, at this rate, it'll probably be done in a few days.

Lime is an EP.
Just a note to all, Lime has nothing to do with La Roche. I noticed the similarity between The Peach Ep and Lime EP the other day, but I don't wish to change the name, so there's my disclaimer.

There's been a serious delay on The End Of All things. That being that after listening through it all again, i absolutely hate all the prepared tracks except for The Way, and Back. So I'm going to be doing a biiig overhaul on it. I have some other material no one has heard yet that I will be adding.

Well, as me and my uncle were discussing today, every mistake is just another bit of education. After 20 mistakes, you're bound to make soemthing near perfect. I believe that may have happened here... see, i was working on a re-edit of the last track, and decided to add soem more improv to it. That improv soon overplayed the sampled bits, soI removed the sampled bits... added more custom work... and whaddayaknow, it turned from disco house to electro, and got me an amazing start on some new material for The End Of All Things.

All my best stuff has happened mostly on accident. Human After All and Jersey Caffeine (my two best songs from my first batch) happened while I was mostly asleep in the back of the car. The Way came from a melody I wrote two years ago taken into it's relative minor, and some of my new tracks which no one has heard yet came from botched experiments in adding some more of my own instrumentation to Lime songs. I just love how it works out!

Er... sorta. I have two EPs in the work. Ice, and Evergreen. It's gonna take a bit longer though... I had a great acoustic guitar sample I had chopped up and made a whole song by itself with, but then when i tried to add the strings and piano I had written for it, they clashed because the original guitar was detuned. I don't know how to re-tune in Sony Acid (though I just thought of something I can try).

Then on the side of that, I have the last song for Ice almost ready, but I ran into another sample problem. One of the samples sounded great on earbuds (couldn't find mah mixin' headphonez) but sounded pretty out of place on my ginormous speakers. I'm working on fixing that up, and then I have a string line on notation paper.

I'm also working on some creepy-sih stuff to use at my friend's Halloween party; my friend Jordan (libertaire.dj to anyone who saw him on my myspace friends) is coming over soon to work on a collaboration we've been planning since June.

You can re-tune. Just go to the "Track Properties" and change the pitch in the 1".000" section. That always works for me.

Yes, what Boba said. Also concerning artwork, there will be eight pages in the booklet (including front and back). They're intended to be double-sided like a regular album booklet.

That sounds good about right. Percentage-wise, I'm about 82% done. I've been working mostly on my Guy-Man costume nowadays, so Animate hasn't really progressed in a while. But like I said, end of November at the latest.
