hi. i'm ingrid, 18 years old and living in thessaloniki (not greek however).
i became a fan of Daft Punk when my older brother, who is fond of electronic music gave me the Discovery album on my 13th birthday. the moment i popped the cd into my player, i instantly fell in love with Daft Punk's music, which is why i set out to purchase their first album, Homework.
it didn't disappoint. house became my favourite genre because of Daft Punk.
then came Human After All... i purchased it the day it was released here.
and you know what? i know you're all going to hate me, but i have to be honest.
it basically, sucked. it was a waste of my money. it led me to continuously ask for months, "how did they come to this?"
okay, you're probably thinking that i only joined this site to bash Daft Punk but no, i still love them.
i always will. that's the truth.
and now that they're back in the studio for their fourth album, i really hope they take their time and produce greater tracks. not a compilation of repetitive, cliché robotic crap like HAA was.
i'm sorry. it was quite an "intro", but i felt i just had to speak my mind.
hello everyone. :)
