Did you like Daft Punk the first time you heard them?

I used to hum the Da Funk main riff when I was a kid (it's technically the first DP track I ever heard), so yeah, I guess I liked DP from the first time.

Indeed I did, when Da Funk was released no one really had heard anything like it except in the nightclubs (house, techno etc) in the mainstream many people shunned it however I can remember thinking what the f**k, when I found out they where playing in Birmingham I had to go and check them out. After the evening was over, I was left baffled and what I just witnessed (Imagine Alive 07 but in a large room filled with sweat and steam / smoke) after that I was hooked...

I immediately loved Digital Love and HBFS when I heard them. I hated Technologic, and most of HAA, but this was before I became old enough to appreciate their music. XD

I heard HBFS at a halloween party, and the kid whose MP3 player it was coming from told me about an awesome video with a guy doing the words on his hands. I like the song, went home, looked, but couldn't remember what the song was... was it longer, higher, faster, better...? whut? a few weeks later, found it by looking up 'hands video with words' on google. then I had to hear their other stuff. So i downloaded a Daft Punk torrent of their entire discography, but only listened to one or two tracks. Then I decided to check out this anime thing on youtube with the blue skinned chick in her skimpies, and watched Interstella 5555, and decided to check out mor eof their songs... hated Homework and HAA from the start. But they kind grew on me after awhile. I still can't stand Rock N Roll or Rollin' and Scratchin'. They grate on my nerves like scratching a chalkboard.

One of the first songs I heard was Robot Rock and I absolutely loved it! So I was hooked from the start.

the first dp song that i hurd was "Human After All" and i loved it and iv been hooked ever since, and its still my fav daft punk song!

then i found t.A.T.u.'s fan video with one more time. i remember that i heard it and search on youtube and... i was the most happiest person in ze house

i absolutely HATED Technologic
but once i heard Around the World i was hooked and technologic just grew on me. i loves it now
