Applying For Becoming Moderators?
26th Sep 2008, 10:51 #1can we (if we wish) individually apply tio become a forum moderator?
because ive noticed a few people have become moderators lately, and thts pretty cool.
i was wondering if we can apply to you (spud) or any other admins? or do you pick who you want to moderate and discuss it.
because..i wanted to ask if i could be considered maybe
(and of course if anyone else wanted to apply, of course!)
thanks
Dark.

26th Sep 2008, 18:32 #2I think there should a vote to choose mods, with members nominating other members. You know, to make a bit more democratical.
DAMN IT! That is such a good idea!

26th Sep 2008, 18:38 #3I have had quite a few PM's about this recently so I'll post here what I'm telling everyone. The way we work is as follows:
If we enter a situation where we require a new mod we first discuss possibilities within the team and shortlist people we feel would be suitable for the role. Then we approach these people and offer them the position. If they do not wish to take up the position we open up the floor for people to apply.
So the best advice I can offer to you is to keep contributing useful and high quality posts and we will notice you."It's Daft Punk's world. We Just live in it"

Hey, kindergarten loves You, I mean... serious.
This guy is smart, He knows, that on this forum there is no such thing as ''disagree''
at least from the users side.
See You,

Well, unfortunately, as SPud In Disguise has just said, you can't really apply. You can just make helpful posts and hope for the best!
