8th Dec 2008, 02:08 #41I hope they win, but I doubt they will. The award will go to some generic crappy pop singer.
If they win, party at my house!

I'm shocked that they've never won a Grammy at all. D:
And I really hope that Madonna or Rhianna don't win. How many awards have those two won? Lots, I'd imagine. It'd be nice to give someone that's really good, but not as well known the spotlight. (ie: Daft Punk)

Madonna: 7
Rihanna: 1

Im incredibly surprized that One More Time didn't win in 2002.
Like, there isn't a person I've met who doesn't know that song.
And its easy to see that Daft Punk isn't going to win this year, with fellow nominations such as Lady Gaga, Madonna, and Rihanna. Thats just the way it is, its always the crappy mainstream music that wins. (as you can tell even from the winners for the past years) >> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Best_Dance_Recording
The only two I can see that really deserve it are Galvanize by the chemical brothers, and Days Go By by Dirty Vegas << that song owns.
lol if they win, PARTY ON THE LIVE CHAT!! lol

The main ceremony is aired live on US TV (and then syndicated around the world) every year, so most likely yeah.
I believe CBS is the station that airs it in the US.

As you'll have to wait for each commercial break to see the winners of other categories not aired in text on the bottom of the screen.
They occasionally show a still picture of the winner on stage receiving their award from earlier that day.
