State/Public/Private school?

Which kind of school do you go to.

Private school for me. It sucks. Boo.

State. Privates are expensive. My course is in a private though.
I just like the fact that its free and that im not as nerdy as 99.9% of the students of that school.

ok, so when i was in Britain this summer, we met a local who said something about how private and public schools were reversed for the UK than the US?

so by state and private school what do you mean exactly?

uh, dunno about stuff with UK/US differences, but i've been to both.

i've been to a lot of schools when i was really young, but to break it into the four bigger divisions, i was private (Catholic) elementary/primary then switched to public for middle and high (though the school i went to for the last two years was public, it's kind of got a private school atmosphere). the university i go to is public as well.

I almost went to a private school - as in, I was offered a choice of to either continue public school or go to a local private...but eh, public's fine with me. You don't have to wear uniforms or anything. :P

my primary school and high school were private. my first year of university was at a private school. afterwards, i transferred out and now i go to a city/public university. honestly, i much prefer it. i think the whole idea in the US that private schools are better, is complete bull.

I went to a public primary school and my current high school is a catholic private school (even though im not catholic). It sucks, coz in australia, it doesnt matter whether you go to a public or private school, we all have to wear uniforms
