DAMN IT! That is such a good idea!
20th Mar 2009, 20:56 #17hmm..
I don't think its official Daft Punk. I think its something made up by a record company..
They did the same thing with Digitalism..

and the Chemical Brothers
http://www.discogs.com/release/1618743
The label is "Digital Deck Recordings"
Which somewhat leads me to believe either it is something compiled by the label (kinda like the release of Discovered, daft punk had nothing to do with the release)
20th Mar 2009, 21:05 #18Its a fake. The tracklist for Digitalism's one is EXACTLY the same as the Essential Mix tracklist.
DAMN IT! That is such a good idea!
21st Mar 2009, 00:40 #19I wouldn't call it "fake". It is mixed by Daft Punk, it's just not "official".
21st Mar 2009, 03:23 #20More like an official release of a previously unreleased set. Similar, in a way, to what Liam Howlett did with "The Dirtchamber Sessions", but with much less involvement from the actual artist.
...Ah, well.
