    Keytars/Shoulder Keyboard

Just to clear something up, both are the same. I guess people thought keytar sounded a little retro.

Anyway, I'm looking for one. I love to play the keyboard, but most of my own stuff tends to have an electronic or "House" feeling. I always thought about doing a bit of DJing or something at the local venues. And since I have a full size keyboard, I can't very well carry it around and jam out. I've been scouring the internet for them and all I find is 1 style from Yamaha and 1 style from Roland. The Yamaha one looks a little cheesy. And as you can guess, the Roland is very very high end and expensive. Does anyone have any info or sites on other makes or models? I'm hoping to buy new, but if someone can find some pretty decent used ones, any info would be greatly appreciated.

I know that there exists a Moog Keytar but I thinks it's rather expensive. To be honest I think your best chance of finding other models for less money is by going through eBay and find a reliable seller.

That's another instrument in my list of "Instruments I would love to play, but don't have the time or money". That list includes instruments as varied as violins, saxophones, theremins, synthesizers, etc.
