best place to buy Daft Punk's cds?
9th Jun 2009, 14:07 #1I cant find any of there albums in Walmart, We have an FYI but they only had Alive 2007 (I bought it) and I want EVERY album in a Physical Form! I might not get Daft Club but just Homework, Discovery, Human After All and Alive 1997. Any store recommendations?
9th Jun 2009, 14:46 #2It sounds lame, but the Best Buy's near me tended to have a lot more than I'd expected. Otherwise I'd just suggest a place like Virgin Megastore. Last time I went to one they had the whole catalog, singles and all.
Also, you can always order online. Amazon.com tends to do deals where you can get discounted prices if you buy more than one album by the same artist at a time.

9th Jun 2009, 15:03 #3If you live in a city big enough, it must have neat little record stores, and those usually have pretty much anything you want, you just need to find them (Google, word of mouth, newspapers and magazines, etc etc). On the other hand, if you live in a city too damn small, try the above mentioned Amazon.com and other webstores. Google is your friend. And, of course, the superhyper-mainstream-family markets/stores might have diamonds in their catalogs, so my advice is to take a walk around all the local stores.

9th Jun 2009, 15:54 #5I got allot of my CDs at Barnes & Nobles. I went there once and they had Homework, Discovery, Human After All, Daft Club, Musique vol 1 all at once. They also had Electroma and D.A.F.T. So they had about everything in stock at the same time.
9th Jun 2009, 16:07 #6I got all the studio albums and Musique Vol.1 (CD/DVD) at Best Buy and ordered Daft Club and Alive 2007 off of Barnes & Nobles website.

9th Jun 2009, 19:52 #7ALL of mine actuslly came from Joe Nardone's Gallery of Sound. Anyone near Norheaser PA would be famliar with the name. My latest one, Alive 1997 came from Amazon. Anway, Gallery of Sound even had Electroma when they opened one of their new stores. I wet in the hopes of finding a Mdest Mouse CD and came out with Daft Pnks latest movie. GoS is not a little store. I think ther are about 5 or 6 of them. They do tend to be a bit pricy when it comes to older CD's. Btut they have a cool "new CD price". $10 for any CD no older than 1 week. Very awesome when you're awaiting a new arrival.
9th Jun 2009, 20:13 #8Surely the best place is online. I'm not sure what the biggest online store (other than Amazon who aren't really the cheapest around) is in America - but as you are gonna have to wait either way I'd suggest go online where you can probably find them cheaper than in the high street.

10th Jun 2009, 03:45 #10HMV has all of their CDs, plus it always has a sign that says "Best of the best" under Daft punk.
