20th Jul 2009, 15:48 #16that 250 to 850 sounds reasonable. Does anyone know what site will be selling them? Medicom has nothing about future releases on their site, and I definitely don't want to miss out on this!
20th Jul 2009, 16:50 #18Yeah for real. I know it's Daft Punk, but sheesh... it's plastic. ._.
Lmao.i just want the heads
21st Jul 2009, 03:52 #19Oh lol. The Beatles 1000% Kubricks were $2000, not daft punk.
But still, i dont think they will be around $850 if The Beatles ones were $2000.
"What do you want to do?" Bangalter asks de Homem-Christo. "Un café? Un thé? Chocolat?""Strip club," de Homem-Christo deadpans.
21st Jul 2009, 04:17 #20As much as that makes sense, you also have to look at the merketing differences.
1. The Beatles' following was much larger than Daft Punks... so upping the price would make lots of sense.
2. There are four pieces to the Beatles, whereas there are only two to Daft Punk... so the price could be upped more for production.
3. And how about the detail for each individual character of the Beatles?! Each has his own distinct face AND clothing. Thomas and Guy-Man have only different helmets.
I think $850 US and whatever that equals in GBP/ Australian Bills/ euros/ etc. is very reasonable for basically, two identical bodies and 1 piece plastic helmets. (I forgot to mention how the Beatles's outfits are seperate pieces. Shirt and jacket... fancy.
