Alive 2007 Tour DVD
17th Jul 2009, 18:56 #1I wasn't sure where to put this, so I just threw it here in General. My girlfriend bought me a DVD on E-bay with the heading "Daft Punk Alive 2007 at Coachella Valley". I was psyched when she told me and went to look it up. It sounds like a fan-made DVD. He wrote that it's in high quality video and sound. It's the full show as well, so I'm kind of excited. Anyone ever find something similar to it?
P.S. It should be here in about a week. I'll let everyone know how it is once I get it
17th Jul 2009, 19:12 #2As far as I know Daft Punk never released an Alive DVD. This must be fan made. And you paid for it? I'm sure you could find it anywhere on the Internet for free as it's only fan made!
17th Jul 2009, 20:22 #3I have seen it on sites before. The two I found (one was on Limewire, the other was a Torrent) were a bit disappointing. Very fuzzy pictures, poor audio, and each was only about 30 minutes long. It wasn't very expensive either; $7 US. It's actually a gift from my girlfriend, so I'm thankful either way.

or it could have been a recording from http://www.theworldisdaft.com/ which someone released a high quality performance of the Alive 2007 performance obtained from a bunch of people
Also, the Coachella performance was in 2006 so it seems weird that it was named Alive 2007
18th Jul 2009, 05:19 #5I have the coechella dvd. I got it off ebay. missed the tour so i couldn't resist....
I like it. It's made by fans, but the quality is great. The sound is good and there are some really good shots. I've only watched it on my laptop but i would love to see it on a big screen. I'm sure you'll enjoy it! Besides I need anything and everything Daft Punk related. You should see my sailor moon collection from high school....
27th Jul 2009, 00:57 #6Hey everyone. I got the DVD the yesterday. It's the Coachella Music Fest: April 29, 2006. The quality was actually very good. 3 or 4 different angles; one was actually only about 15 or 20 feet from the pyramid. It's pretty sweet... I've watched it twice already. Its only hardened my ambitions of seeing their next tour!
27th Jul 2009, 05:06 #7yep that's the one I got. Told you it was good! Makes me cry sometimes though, the darkest moment of my life was when I missed the Alive tour. Arg! I can't even think about it now!
