???Around The World (The Chemical Brothers Remix)???

Hi all. I got the "Around The World" remix by The Chemical Brothers I downloaded from the net (I got several files tagged like this). But I wonder why it sounds like "Da Funk", moreover I cannot hear the slightest sample from the original version of "Around The World" by Daft Punk. The more I download the track named "Around The World (The Chemical Brothers Remix)", the more I get the same da-funk-like situation. Do you know something about this? It just seems to be a common thing over the internet, or am I mistaken? PS: No, I cannot buy the entire album, as long as the retail service is not active at my place.

Moreover, I just compared "Da Funk (The Chemical Brothers Remix)" and "Around The World (The Chemical Brothers Remix)" and have to admit those tracks sound absolutely identical with each other. If you compare the original album version of "Da Funk" with the tracks listed (tagged like this) above, they sound identical as well.

Will you be so kind to link me to the propper version of "Around The World" mixed by The Chemical Brothers? Something like this...

I've never heard of the chemical brothers remixing any dp songs :S I tried looking on youtube just now and found nothing which is odd epecially considering how popular both daft punk and the chemical brothers are, could you possibly upload it to a file share website or something so I could have a listen?

That remix came off some bootleg "white" version of the Daft Club CD. It is in fact a Da Funk remix, although whether or not it's actually by the Chems is questionable. It can't be written off entirely, though: they did take a liking to Da Funk when it came out and often used it as an encore.

thats a rather popular (and pretty damn cool,i have to say) mash-up between da funk and the chemical brothers track "song to the siren".neither artist had anything to do with the making of the final mix,its an anonymous mash-up.

Yeah, its been discussed here before. Neither of the tracks are affiliated in any way with either Daft Punk or The Chemical Brothers.

Hmm, I'd searched the forums but hadn't found anything concerning the topic I raised.

Okay, I shall take it on board.
