    well I LIKE OWL CITY.

    its happy music. it makes you feel good, and although some of the lyrics are nonsensical, i think thats why it makes you feel that way. because you dont really have to care too much, and its not about the typical song topics artists come up with today, and this way you're able to get lost in a little world of nostalgia and imagination =P

    my favorites from ocean eyes are the remix of hello seattle and cave in.

    we did not choose to become robots. there was an accident in our studio. we were working on our sampler, and at exactly 9:09 a.m. on september 9, 1999, it exploded. when we regained consciousness, we discovered that we had become robots.

    I thought Fireflies was fairly catchy to begin with, but having heard it on morning radio once a day for weeks I've grown to loathe Owl City with every fiber of my being.
