Selling my Guy Man helmet.

Well it's that time to move onto a different project and so I'm selling my guy man helmet, and I figured I'd put it up here to see what offer I get before I put it on ebay or craigslist.

The helmet was built for Halloween of '08, and took about 3 months of my spare free time so roughly 60-80 hours of work not including materials so I'm asking $800.

It has lights, the green ear 'zig-zag' and a red and green led. The visor is sprayed with nite shades and completely see-through-able and I walked around all halloween night with it without much of a problem, though it is not crystal clear. It has padding on the inside wrapped in blue suede fabric (ouu fancy) and will definitely turn heads. Depending on the turn out my roommate may sell his Thomas helmet, which has the scrolling led ticker and even has portable speakers in the helmet so you can connect your ipod shuffle (we did on halloween and it was all self contained in the helmet)

Anyways, I'd like $800 + shipping, and at that price it's like getting payed $11 an hour for the time I put in, and that doesnt include the couple hundred spent on materials making this helmet. Here are some pics. You can find my posts in the giant helmet building thread to see my progress pics.

When you pay for it it online, it will go into his bank account in his countries currency, so no worries there

I'll accept all forms of payment through paypal, unfortunatly you'd have to cover the paypal fee unless you want to send the money as a gift, in which case I have plenty of references all over the internet where I've sold things.

Shipping to the UK would probably be some bank. Ideally I'd like to sell to someone local, I live in the Bay Area in San Francisco.

daftpunk dude there are rarely any people with helmets this high qaulity with so many features for this price, id grab it if i were you (that is to say, if i had the money)
